As someone who has epilepsy and seizures still isn’t under control seeing this makes me so happy to see. I have had people just flat out say that I was faking it.
I have been epileptic since I was 16. Had people say I could control them. Even if I take my medication every day (which I do), there is always a chance.
I heard boo's in t he crowd and that is fucking gross and disgusting, fuckin shameless people that don't give a single fuck unless it was a friend or a loved one, fuck a lot of them, fucking assholes.. Gross as shit...
It could have happened accidentally because of a brain thing. When I first got PTSD, I was talking to a guy I knew, and out of nowhere an electrical impulse in my brain flung me to hug him. I was upset that happened. Thank g-d it hasn't happened anymore.
It's pretty sad that Ivan Moody had to show those idiots how to handle a seizure victim. Where's the training??? Thanks Ivan Moody for being a great human being!!!
must have been some incompetent security that night. Ivan's telling them more than once to lay her on her side and they still lay her on her back. i can see why Ivan threw the mic down and did it himself. MUCH respect Ivan and FFDP.
One of the reasons here the metal community is a big family! We look out for each other like brothers and sisters! I'm surprised I didn't have a seizure the only time I was at 5FDP concert and I have them regularly! I was surprised when I heard that Ivan Moody has them too but he has them!!
I grew up with a family member who has epilepsy and Ivan did everything at expert level. I appreciate how he kept the crowd quiet so she wouldn't get overwhelmed and having another and so staff couldhear each other. I respect the hell out of Ivan. Keeping the respect at his shows
Doesn't really have anything to do with the presence or absence of a lawsuit... it's about showing love and respect to your fellow human beings instead of just focusing on "show business". Sure, a lawsuit would've likely arose if nothing had been done, but really I do not believe that's the ultimate reason for stopping concerts in situations like this.
I've gained so much respect for this guy. FFDP gets so much unnecessary hate that they don't deserve. As someone who has epilepsy seeing that he actually understand what to do when someone has a seizure makes me happy.
@@fatmolly8246 I've always been a fan... And yeah he was an asshole to them, but I thought the guitarist came out and said the hate kind of went both ways at the time.
@@fatmolly8246 Being an asshole while drunk is kind of to be expected. It causes you to have abnormal behavior. This is why I'm glad I don't drink... I'm not gonna put myself through that shit. The thing about being drunk is that you can consciously choose to do it... whereas a seizure can happen without any fucking warning sign, and you have zero control over yourself once that seizure starts. Your brain is literally going haywire during a seizure. My brother suffered from pretty severe seizures, and the really abnormal vocal sounds he made during a seizure were the most gut-wrenching, most fucking devastating sounds I've ever heard in my life!
A lot of people know that , I have history of epilepsy and that’s exactly what you have to do , just because he’s not a doctor doesn’t mean he doesn’t know this type of stuff
Acting like it’s completely impossible for any number of the thousands of shows that take place every year to have one occurrence of someone having an epileptic fit who also happens to be in the front row 🤣 And yeah it’s completely plausible that they didn’t know what to do. They’re security staff on $10 an hour, not paramedics. Not to mention that there’s only 3 of them who had about 5 seconds before Ivan said something. So you’re asserting what, that Ivan met some girl before the show started and told her to freak out at the front so he could stop the show and tell the security guards to put her on her side.. presumably for what, so he could win some nice guy points? I mean seriously, do you really think that’s likely? FFDP always have very bright flashing lights at their shows, perhaps someone just had an epileptic fit bud
@@-WhizzBang- There have been many concerts out there where people have medical emergencies and people performing the concert don't stop the show. Yes, I understand sometimes the performer doesn't notice it until it's too late, but there are several videos online where people that perform don't stop the show even though they notice it. Just look at Travis Scott for an example.
Thank you Ivan ❤️ Guys and Knuckleheads!!!!! So Much love to you All . Get better sweetie . I have epilepsy also I'm so glad you helped her and knew what to do ❤️❤️❤️👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I have a foster baby with seizures and it means a lot to see someone put this other persons medical needs first. Seizures are scary and have know how to handle to help someone is always amazing
@@-WhizzBang- exactly how would he face a lawsuit? The fan attended the concert and by using the ticket to get in they agreed to the terms of release of liability. There are extenuating circumstances but this would not be one of them.
@@bronsonswan812 umm, hey dummy, someone showing signs of injury or distress right in front of the stage, and the band ignoring it and not stopping the show to render aid, resulting in the person being seriously injured or dying! That is 100% an extenuating circumstance, and they could 100% be held liable. Wake up.
@@-WhizzBang-how? By knowing what the lady needed? If anyone were to be rightfully sued it’d be those asshole cops who insisted on laying her on her back. Anyone with a brain knows you get them into a recovery position.
Must've been a crazy moment. I found this video on TikTok and figured it'd be something interesting to share to RU-vid. No uploading to steal videos or anything, just thought this was cool, considering FFDP is one of my favorite bands.
Which females? Black females, white females, Hispanic females etc...? From what I've gathers Jewish females are #1 and then black, Hispanic, white and Asian. See how putting one group of people first can cause issues?
Here’s something everyone else knows but apparently you don’t - it’s not women who society doesn’t care about the health of, it’s men. #1 killer of men aged 18-45 is suicide. Go look up the average lifespan, go look up who dies in wars, go look up who does all the dangerous jobs, go look up who makes up 99% of workplace fatalities, go look up who makes up all the front line emergency services, then shut the fuck up
It speaks a lot when they went to chanting his name he told them to stop he wasn’t looking for recognition he was just wanting to help another human being
