After 35 years in the film industry, award winning filmmaker, Ben Horowitz, has embarked on a journey to find the answers to life.

Ben is currently exploring the Transkei region of the Eastern Cape, South Africa, through a series called Transkei Stories.

Transkei Stories is dedicated to the sustainable conservation and development of the Transkei region.

The Transkei is home to Amampondo, Amampondomise, AbaThembu and AmaXhosa... deeply cultured people with a rich and ancient history. Their land is an enticing world of rolling hills, clean flowing rivers, breathtaking waterfalls, deep river gorges and thick subtropical forest... all meeting on the Wild Coast, one of the world's last "undeveloped" stretches of coastline.

Ben tells stories that reflect on the lives of the people of the Transkei; their history and culture, their beautiful land and the challenges that they face.
