Hello! Question…. You guys got a first class flight? For the purpose of getting space/basinet for your baby??? Also, you guys didn’t take a car seat, how did you do the trip from the airport to your hotel etc?
Hi! I’m traveling with my newborn who will be 4 months in November and I was wondering if you guys brought your baby’s stroller with the carseat attachment or just the bassinet looking attachment?
Congratulations guys. I bumped into your vlogs this 5am (yes when you're old, the body just says enough sleep 😅) I realised you're just around our area so I'm hoping one of these days to bump into you guys. . Oh I better subscribe to you guys (can we ask the same - I promise I'll upload some more videos soon just that life is hectic with full time job and 2 teenagers to contend with) looking forward to more of your videos with baby J
Hello, thnx for that Great video.. we will travel with our baby too soon and i wanted to ask the way to pagoda.. how long did it take from bottom to observation deck?
Hi 😊 there's no limit for bottles when travelling with a baby/toddler (from our experience). We brought heaps of bottles plus a huge insulated bottle with hot water. They just had to do extra checks to ensure it's water inside 💕
Awwwww……Congratulations you two 🎉🇦🇺 ! Is Jordan automatically a citizen because he was born in Australia? Do you have to take a test to become a citizen or do you have to reside in the country for a specified time period?
Thank you Dorisene! Jordan was automatically a citizen because they recently changed the rules for babies with NZ citizen parents 😊 One of the requirements for us is to have resided in Australia for 4 years (from what I remember) and we still had to take a test 💕
Four and a half hours?!?! Did you all have a voice afterwards 😂😂? It looks like she put on a really good show though with the costume and set changes. 🎶
How exciting for you both! 😊 We liked both hotels - we loved the ambience and food at the High Street Lounge in Shangri-La but we definitely enjoyed Okada more as it's overall a more luxurious and modern hotel. The room we stayed in Okada was a lot bigger with a fountain view plus you won't need to leave the hotel to eat and shop! 💕
@@CristinaDanielVLOGS good point! We do like to go to bars etc as we’ve left the kids in Sydney with their grandparents haha Would shangri-la be a better choice or is there good entertainment in okada also? Thanks for the response!
That's awesome! You guys can have some alone time lol We didn't really look out for bars when we were there but I think Shangri-La would be better for night life. There's plenty of restaurants around BGC that were open late 😊
OMG….I love looking at display, or model homes, as they’re called here in the states. I liked all of those homes 😍, especially that large walk in closet and the walk in pantry. Did I hear you all correctly that there were 80 display homes? Here we may have 2-3 model homes in a new subdivision.
Yes, I agree! The walk-in wardrobe and walk-in pantry are a dream! 😍 It is advertised as 80 houses but when we were there, not all houses were finished. There are actually more display villages (from different builders) here in Sydney and after a few years, they sell them 💕
FUN FACT - "Hyams Beach, NSW, DOES NOT have world's whitest sand according to the Guinness World Records." It's a claim that has been published repeatedly for decades. The Sydney Morning Herald refers to it as far back as 1987. And now, every few months, a major news publisher (including this one) or someone on social media picks up that tag and runs with it. No questions asked. The only problem is, it's not true. The tiny coastal town in New South Wales, near Jervis Bay, has become a victim of fake news and its own popularity. Home to only 100 people, the population swells into the thousands over the summer as tourists flock to this seaside village to see the "world's whitest sand" and take the perfect Instagram shot. Sure, it's white - whiter than the sand at Bondi and St Kilda. But it's not the world's whitest - Hyams Beach is not even home to Australia's whitest sand. And to further debunk the myth, the Guinness World Records doesn't even have a "world's whitest sand" category. So, where is the whitest beach? It started as an afternoon banter over beers for Noel Schoknecht, soil scientist and former chairman of the National Committee on Soil and Terrain, to find the country's whitest beach. A term of reference was then drafted and samples taken from beaches across the country. The samples had to be taken from the swash zone (the gently sloping area between the water and the dunes) and they could not be treated in any way apart from air-drying. The winning beach was Lucky Bay in Cape Le Grand National Park on Western Australia's south coast. Followed by Hellfire Bay in WA, Tallebudgera Beach in Queensland, Whitehaven Beach in Queensland, Squeaky Beach in Victoria, Boat Harbour Beach in Tasmania, Hyams Beach in New South Wales, and Bromby Island in Northern Territory.
Oh wow thanks for the fun fact! lol We agree it's not the whitest beach in the world, but the closest here in NSW (maybe?). Hopefully one day we'll get to see the whitest beach in WA that you mentioned! 💕
i am soo beyond nervous and intimidated to travel with my newborn, but this video showing a long haul flight really gives me a little hope thanks for sharing!
Hi there 😊 Jordan didn't like wearing his earmuffs (he'd always take them off) so we decided to just give him his dummy/milk bottle to suck on during take off and landing. Also, the airplane white noise helped Jordan sleep for longer 💕
This video is right on time, but first - Happy Belated Birthday 🥳 🎉! I’m glad you had fun. My crew is debating visiting Oahu this summer. If we do, on our list of places to visit is Pearl Harbor & Kualoa Ranch. We were also thinking about the glass bottom boat tour that leaves from Port Hilton, but the cruise you took offers food I see, so I may be switching gears. 😄
Thanks Dorisene! 💕 If you visit Pearl Harbour, definitely allocate more time if you guys will be checking out the museums. We also wanted to try the Atlantis submarine tour but couldn't because Jordan's too small. Also, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 💕
Hi Dorisene! 😊 thank you so much! Jordan is growing up really fast and is now very active, it's getting harder to find time to edit our vlogs 🤪 Please bear with our late uploads! 💕
Hi there 😊 that's a really good idea! At the time we created this video, we thought of just showing our experience. Flying with an infant can be scary, but manageable as long as you have extra of everything - milk, music, food (if applicable), nappies, spare clothes, toys and a baby carrier! I hope this helps 💕
The title intrigued me so I watched it. Because today is her daughter's 9th birthday. Happy birthday! May your new year be even more wonderful ❤ What a wonderful family! Watching it made me smile. Thank you very much 👍
Awwwwww……..that was so sweet the little girl comforting Jordan when he was crying 🥰. The Shangri-La is really nice. I liked that there’s a lot of stores and shopping nearby. 🛍😂
Hi Dorisene! 😊 it was so cute, wasn't it? That's my friend's baby! The location and the hotel itself was amazing, loved the ambiance in the High Street Lounge 💕
