Its actually really terrifying when you think about it, as it overwrites your preferences which means many of these people likely never had a thing for young girls like him/her to begin with. (Not sure if in the original japanese the boy turned girl refers to themself as a girl) Also... this storys basically, "trans girl and her gay get screwed over by a love goddess." Like my man the resident gay bro's entire world has been shattered cause his formerly neet bro he was totally crushing on is a girl now and he doesn't know how to feel. They were having a bromance... AND THE GODDESS RUINED IT!
It actually does not overwrite your preferences, merely amplifies the attraction you normally feel. Anyone who gets charmed already liked girls or, in Jinguuji's (MC's best friend who got isekaid with him/her) case, as much as he tries to deny it, was already attracted to Tachibana (the guy who became female upon getting isekaid) before the sex change. Jinguuji is pretty much Tachibana-sexual than gay or straight. No girls get charmed and one gay guy named Shen is completely unnafected. Said gay guy is instead infatuated with Jinguuji. In later chapters of the manga, which haven't been animated, so spoilers, I guess... Both Tachibana and Jinguuji get their genders changed because they insulted the goddess. Tachibana's new male body looks different from his original body and his charm doesn't go away, but who it affects changed. Now hordes of women fall in love with him at sight while most men are unnafected with his charm. Funnily enough, the gay guy I mentioned before remains unnafected by Tachibana's charm because he just isn't into his body type. Upon finding out about the gender change, Shen became heartbroken because Jinguuji is now a girl and wants him to regain his body.
@@luciacamacho444 Well I do remember it not effecting men or gays but that doesn't mean it doesn't effect your preferences not everyone is into lolies dude, some people would be outright put off by that kind of figure so it has to influence your interest somewhat to make *all* men attracted to woman fall for Tachibana. I for example, prefer a woman who can kick my ass, site the theory of quantum mechanics to me, beat me in a strategy game and has an assertive personality. Are you saying, that by making me like tachibana, who's, helpless, pretty dim, and often subserviant to others that my preferences are *not* being overwritten? cause I felt no attraction to her at all when watching. And no... thats not cause she was a guy before... im bi... not not 'super straight'
technically speaking the people of this world aren't total creeps they (the girl) are literally cursed by the goddess of love to charm everyone they interact with that is remotely interested in them to the point where i feel like if they took a bath with other girls they'd probably end up getting molested
Can you imagine if Kyosuke found another cat, but turns out it was possessed ? I know as long as the Guardian is there, that could not happen, but one can dream. He wants to help his sister so badly, yet he knows nothing of what's going on with her (other than the grieving, that is). Well, a possessed cat would be one way go get him to know. I hope they eventually bring smarter ghosts into the manga. Someone possessing who/whatever it needs to get close to Miko and use her somehow. This series is a metaphor for depression after all. And I think she's losing, truth be told.
