Hi there! I'm Krissy, a mom of three, sharing my journey as I navigate through my cancer journey. Along the way, you'll find me walking, journaling, and diving into a treasure trove of lifestyle topics. Together, let's celebrate the small victories, embrace the challenges, and find a dash of happiness in every day. Welcome, I am glad you stopped by :)
Why wouldn't they just give you the pill form? These medical creatures like to inject everything in the veins. Even SATAN told me if you try any drugs don't ever inject any of them because you won't recover from it.
Idk if my doctor is going to have me get on done I was born with low platelets and they can’t seem to find a reason why I am going to a hospital for children to see if they can help I was told is that it will be a blood test but I think that if nothing shows up then bone. My uncle had it done he said it hurt a bit
You so got this girl! I'm about a year late but I know you will get where you want to be! I'm starting my walking challenge tomorrow AM. Wish me luck! :)
Not necessarily it could be other factors but I’m no doctor. Make sure you get it double checked with a specialist perhaps a hematologist to make sure!
I am a nurse & I specifically told them that I WILL NOT do this without sedation!!! I’ve had natural childbirth & the thought of a bone marrow biopsy terrifies me.
@@krissythewhimsy I had it done today. I was very apprehensive, but I was pleasantly surprised. They injected the medication & I went to la la land. I was literally high as a kite afterwards, but no pain. It’s bedtime now & I’m feeling some soreness. In the future, should I need a repeat, I will choose the same.
Thank you. I was just diagnosed with MM. I am awaiting my bone marrow biopsy on October 16th. I am scheduled to speak with the Hemotologist/ oncologist on November 5th. Please continue to produce these videos ❤
Thank you for your comment! I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis but praying you have a good outcome. Also consider getting another opinion from a MM specialist too!
Yes that definitely adds to it. I think your bone consistency also plays a role. I have been told my bones are really hard so it makes it more difficult to get the results
I just had BMA this morning, worst day of my life!! They put me on local anesthesia only, i felt extreme pain! It was traumatizing!!! I was crying and screaming the time! I would ask for general anesthesia next time. I wished i had read this before i had mine.
Prayer up the you my sister I just got in REMISSION FROM MULTIPLE MYELOMA IT WILL MAKE YOU HAVE BONE PAIN AND IT CAN GO AFTER YOUR ORGANS. EAT HEALTHY STAY WELL IN JESUS NAME AMEN 🙏
Hello , currently I have MGUS which is a precursor to MM. It is a non cancerous condition that can present different symptoms, but often is a symptomatic in the beginning. I am so blessed to be under surveillance every 3 months with blood testing monitoring with the oncologist. This was such an informative with great descriptions. I am trying to educate myself and praying that I do not get MM. I had MGUS since 2021. It is a silent condition that is hard to detect. I had gotten an antigen blood test from my allergist due to chronic monthly sinus infections . This was a blessing to find out the truth about why my immune system appear to do weak. I am interested in following your health journey. I will be praying for you and know God is going to allow you to use this health condition as your test of faith while you go through the storm called FAITH! God got you my sister🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.
Keep up the walking and focus on good nutrition too. Make it part of your lifestyle. I walk 30 min at a pace fast enough to get my heart rate up and work up a good sweat.
Dear Krissy, this is so informative, thank you 🙏 I am curious about what got you got diagnosed with high risk MM as I got that same diagnosis just yesterday 😢 (a few genetic mutations after biopsy)I know it is very personal and I understand if you don't want to share. Take care ❤
Girl, I don’t know how the heck you live through four of them. I just had one yesterday and I’m telling you if they tell me I need another one. They’re gonna have to drag me into the room to do it. It was so freaking painful. I cried. I screamed. It was worse than child birth so my hats off to you God bless you, dear I hope your health is better 🙏🏽
I’m really really scared. I have to get it for a test for systemic mastocytosis. I had a spinal tap couple of years ago because they thought I had meningitis, but I didn’t. It was the massive activation syndrome that made me pass out.. it was not fun. I filled the pressure like you said, but I was a good girl to my place. Unfortunately, right now I cannot do it anymore. My back is really really bad and just laying on the side. Either side is painful. I’m gonna ask my doctor if they can because I honestly cannot stay still nor any leg or anything I have ready and I also have degenerative disks in my lumbar area. I have enforced for the past couple of years to sleep in a position because I cannot lay on the side. I am so scared. I feel like crying right now on Thursday. My doctor is gonna tell me all of the details and I am terrified.
I’m in Australia and thank you for this. I’m getting mine done tomorrow and I have so much anxiety. Mine will be done at the pathology lab while I am awake. I am so bloody scared. 😟
Omg I'm so glad I watched this. A lil late but thank God I chose to be completely sedated. I had my bone marrow biopsy yesterday and I have real bad PTSD with sounds and I most definitely can't stay still. I was told that I would be given the twilight mild sedation cocktail but yesterday they advised my Dr preferred full sedation.. thank God I did but I wish I didn't need the tube. My throat hurts so bad and all the way to my ribs but I don't remember anything while I was out. Sending you 🙏💕
Thank you I’m also having a bone marrow biopsy & aspiration I was told under a local anaesthetic, after seeing everyone and hearing from you all I’m going to ask too I be sedated under a general. I’m Aussie, and again thank you for your honesty everyone.
I have been going through colonoscopies since since I was nine because of inflammatory bowel disease, and I will never go through them without a strong form of sedation. Girl, thank you for sharing your story.
Thank you Kissy for that sound advise of your experience with a bone marrow procedure. I had to cancel my first due to hearing a needle being placed behind your hip so the doctors are evaluating my lab results and if it gets better then they might not need to perform that procedure. You are brave to let us know what you went through. Thanks again and hope to hear from your next chapter. V/R JB

Fantastic!!! You continued!! I just saw your first video and now this one. Sorry to hear you had some negative comments, folks like that are just little mosquitoes. Small minds use unkind words. You’re doing great. You’re worth every second you put into yourself. All the best.
