Welcome to the Dreamworld! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 And this isn't even their heaviest song, which is "No More". 😉 But they are really going into Babymetal territory here. The lyrics speak about their struggles as Minx and how happy they are to be Dreamcatcher now! Especially when it was clear that Minx had failed, they were in a dark place, hoping for "one more chance", which their company provided, much to all our luck. It is a rare thing in K-Pop that a failed group gets another chance, but their CEO is like an uncle to them. He even said in an interview that the failure of Minx was on the company, not the girls. And that if Dreamcatcher failed as well, he would become a cucumber farmer to support the girls. That is unheard of in K-Pop.
I would not take everything seriously what they say :D They are also very good in trash talking . He said also he is not a professional, what is obviously not true. :D
I appreciate your Spanish! I am in the Dominican Republic listening with many friends that do not speak English. It is great being able to share a reaction where they do not have to read subtitles. Voiceplay received compliments from the original artists (Valhalla Calling) and from the composer for Halo. They do not do a song unless they feel they can add to it and give it something original. They have a true love and respect for music.
Thank you for reaction. 👍"Otyken" [O-tu-k`en] is one of the best Russian "modern folk" groups. Their texts are in Khakass, Chulym and Russian languages. Word "Otyken" in Chulym and other Turkic languages means - "a sacred land where warriors would lay down their arms and talk". Azyan - vocals; Ach - keyboard, throat singing; Kunchari - igil (two string cello); Otamay - komuz (two-three string guitar); Tsveta - vargan (aka mouth harp, jaw harp), drums, komuz, vocals; Maya - drums; Hakaida - bass-drums; Aiko (Muna from this year) - bass guitar. This is good mood, the band is known for playing bluegrass covers of different famous songs and bring their own touch into it to transform it into different genre. They are popular here in Finland where they originated from but are also loved around the world. Some of their recordings on youtube are just one camera and microphone so it might sometimes be kinda "bad" in the way that microphone is not picking up all the sounds and singing sometimes drowns under the other instruments. But when they perform on a larger stages they sound awesome and have people dancing. The instrument on the left is a mandolin, hope you react to more of these guys, they are so funny and talented but seeing them live is really on an another level.
Love Teddy! Check out more. Teddy doesn't really have a genre. He does rock, pop, country and r & b. My favorite is the r&b. Try teddy, X Ambassador and Jac Ross doing Happy People. 🔥 Very soulful.
Geoff has been singing since Middle School days and is now in his ear;y 40s. He has done a lot of training to get the voice he has now, especially his bass range. He sings every day. Geoff has made some great videos about How To Sing Low. Great video.
I am one of his Patrons, and couldn't wait for this to become public. The original artist was Jim Croce, and he was a favorite of mine, as well as this song, but, I have to admit that I love Geoff's cover. I really enjoy when he brings out the clones so to harmonize with himself. His voice range is amazing. Thank you for your reaction. ☺️
Enjoyed the reaction and analysis. Skillet always struck the right balance between sound and message for me. Would love to hear your take on their songs Not Gonna Die, Save Me, Forever or the End, Would it Matter, Standing in the Storm, The Last Night...maybe some of Jen's project Ledger?
