Shaping and designing with more than 25 years of technical expertise, PATRIK is far more than just another name in windsurfing and wingfoiling. From the very beginnings as passionate windsurfers themselves to high-profile brand employees, designers and title-winning windsurfing professionals, Patrik Diethelm's and Karin Jaggi's decision to found their own brand PATRIK in 2010 was simply a progression that came very naturally. Today many of windsurfing’s and wingfoiling's finest products carry PATRIK’s name on it and the brand is continuing its path of becoming the innovation leader of the sport.
Making absolute sense just to mix up anybody actually thinking of buying what he offers. 1) if you want it soft and you want control you need a styrofoam board, you need glass 2) If you want it sporty and light, you need carbon. Clear enough. But then of course he goes on to say that the pros like a carbon deck but a glass hull ....... i.e.: a bit of both. Just like any maker; he doesn't make sense when it comes to marketing.
I got my new F-Race 120 on the water today. The last +25 years I have had +25 boards of most brands. The 120 is without doubt the best board I have ever had. Perfect stance in the straps, excellent speed and planing. And I flew through the jibes after some getting used to the board. It even jumps nicely. Excellent quality and design. All the best Per - Denmark
I'm very curious, because at 97 kgs. I need a board with some volume but not too much width to gain speeds of + 30 knots. How would the F-ride 125 compare on maxed out speed against the F-race 120 in real world conditions, which is NOT flat water and steady wind? The F-race is a bit wider, but to me width gives planing but not really speed, as a wider board is often more difficult to control in chop and gusts. All the best Per Denmark
I sailed on a Windsurfer "Win" model, their hollow, displacement, nonplaning board, in the late 80s. It was a really blast to use at the lake in New Mexico near Santa Fe. I am not afraid of "hollow" boards. Hi-Per Tech boards used a divinicell layer and their strength is legendary and repairs are easy. I want oa Patrik in the 95 lt size but seeing how things have gone to sh%t in Ukraine I don't see one in my future unless...
Good film too see ,great too see real speed not GPS ,what really is the Levite woman's record a few claim it ,38kn is fast makes me wonder about the others ,congratulations ,push the limits ,Perry -53.7 kn outright record from real authorised events .🌍🏆🤟💋💐
Hello, I'm Dimitris 54 , 179 and 60 kgs rider. My first Patrik board is a qtwave 83 which I bought used, less than a month ago I bought a brand new fcross 94 as my medium-big board. Although it's really new yet I'm very happy with it as it's exactly what I was looking for. Wish to thank you for the good design and attention to detail you give your boards and I would like to say that you are on the right path please stay original and focused. Thanks!! Greetings from Greece !!
Einzig artig in dieser Branche dieser Vollblut Manager Top Top Top go to gender das ist das Prinzip life gelebt. Ich weiß schon warum ich nur noch Patrik Board fahre, vielleicht bald auch Segel. Gruß Reiner/RR
Sorry but I don't get it.. the windsurfing world record isn't 55.97 by Bjorn Dunkerbeck ? Btw it is still a really great and impressive speed ! Congrats !
I did the femal speed windsurf worldrecord with 47.06 knots average speed over 500m The man worldrecordholder is antoine albeau with 53.23 knots. I did also the highest 2sec of a woman with 49.29 knots. And there vincent valkanears has the record of the men with 55.66 knots. Björn just had a nice vmax but is not a worldrecord. Vincent was faster on vmax.
Other companies have a lot of cool windsurfing action movies. I am very excited to see it. It's not interesting for Patrick because it's just an explanatory movie. I want to see more cool action movies. I own a Patrick board and am a big fan. It pales in comparison to other companies.
