Hello, I'm Damian & Winny, and I've made South East Asia my permanent home since 2016! Currently, I am immersed in a perpetual journey, crafting content full-time that serves as your daily dose of inspiration.
Now, I've embarked on a new chapter in my life, having recently relocated to the charming city of Poznań in Poland. Join me in this exciting adventure by subscribing to TheMonkeys Channel! Your support means the world to me. Thanks, and I look forward to crossing paths with you somewhere along the way 😎😎
I recommend you classic fairy tales, for example those written by Jan Brzechwa or poems for children by Julian Tuwim. I recommend these authors to you because they are masters of words. ou visit Smarzewskiego Street. There is Happa to Mame, a café specializing in Japanese desserts, and next to Haikara, an excellent Japanese restaurant. Not everything that has faith is the church. Most Polish cities are built under the Magdeburg law. Where there must be a town hall in the central part of the city, the church may or may not have to be located at the main square.
Cool to see this technology in Zabka. Amazon (my employer) developed this, it is called “Just Walk Out” technology. Amazon built several convenience and grocery stores here in the US that are Just Walk Out stores but the tech is being used around the world by many different companies. Great to see it in Poland!
We're losing the plot. Supermarkets without staff or money, restaurants without waitresses, banks without money, customer service without service, wars without grudges. When business owners think they are about the efficient distribution of resources this is the natural outcome. No comprehension that people want human interaction and employment (not simply wages but again human interaction and stimulation).
Sorry I didn't get what Damien was rambling about? What project? All the best to you Winnie, I hope you're okay being on the other side of the world from family with an absent husband.
A good 'jagodzianka' soup must use berries that grow in the forest, not those from agricultural crops. The season for jagodzianka and dumplings with berries is now underway.
I lived there for almost one year in 2015. It was already a perfect city for working back then, and it should be much better now. The booming working-from-home culture for high-tech jobs might slow the city's growth, but I already love it the way it is.
Winnie, your English has advanced so much. Your vocabulary has increased leaps and bounds. You sound great. Giving Damian the push to not put all his eggs in one basket is great advice that you gave him. I think sometimes a guys need a lady to give him encouragement to try something new and take a risk. That was really good of you.
