Congratulations Erin and Ethan. Nice to see you kept the farm in your family. Hard work but rewarding for the heart and soul plus the milk for the general public. Stay safe and healthy.
I’m considering insulation my chicken coop with raw wool from my sheep that has been washed but I’m concerned about critters like moths. You mentioned the Oregon place uses boric acid to prevent that. I like to know more about that product and how to wash my discarded clean fleece so it can be used as insulation.
14:27 Mountain lions don't just live in areas with large open areas. The forested areas with plenty deer would make really good habitat for the big cats. By the way, they are very territorial. If the population of mountain lions goes up much in an area, the less dominate cats will either get killed off by the more dominate cats or they will find new areas to live. Because of this, it would nor surprise me at all that there would be some mountain lions in some of these {beautiful} areas.
My cousin had campsite in Arlington, VT for many years. They were right on the Battenkill River. They're campsite was in the back side of the campground, kind of isolated. They swear that every summer they would see a Catamount 2-3x by their campsite. Almost always very early in the morning. They also would see bobcats, which looked very different, much smaller and different color.
Great to see you and your team on Across The Fence Terry! We are lucky to have this education gem right here in our backyard. I have to say that the ski pole used as a lecture pointer was probably the most Vermont thing in the video!
While visiting a friend in Northern Vermont late one night with the windows open I heard a howl and I knew that wasn’t no coyote but a wolf. I told a local about it and he said “ there’s all kind of critters out there “ which wonder
This is a good question. Many end of life practitioners work on a sliding scale. Also, many will provide services and assistance free if paying fees is a problem.

Kasey did a wonderful job. She really explained the end of life doula services so clearly and in terms that are easily understood. Such a kind and compassionate woman.
Kasey did such an amazing job. She is such a strong and articulate advocate for compassionate, comprehensive, person to person end of life care. Thank you, Kasey.
Their not to many good Studs within the breed . They seem more interested in breeding for Dressage instead of All around or the lippitt side of the Breed
Nice to learn... I make things like banjos from salad bowls, or carve peace symbols from beach pebbles; or that drum in my picture. Now I understand how lyres work and I may try making one. A book called Dictionary Of Music was given to me that discusses early greek and other music and onto modern... maybe now I'm ready to read it's gifts. I make a 'Warpe' , that uses a long flexible neck and 4 strings that connect to a large tin can. Each string has a different length and one end of the neck is mounted to the can body. Bend (warp) the neck to change the pitches... I thought of it as similar to a harp but isn't a harp a form of lyre? Thanks for sharing.
It’s crazy to imagine how armies could maintain focus and order when the fighting reached hand to hand combat. Can you imagine how chaotic that must have been😱. By the way, I just found I live only 1 hour 10 minutes from this historic place…I’ll be checking it out for sure🙏
Thank you another informative video, AtF! I grew up in the state but live elsewhere now. Your videos help me stay connected to my home state. It always disappoints me to see that you don't have more subscribers and don't receive more views. Perhaps with the implementation of a networking infrastructure more Vermonters will discover your YT channel and enjoy it as I do. Thanks again.
Don't be afraid to remind grandparents or older caregivers how important it is to lay the baby on their back for sleep. We were taught emphatically to NEVER leave a baby on their back (the fear was that they would spit up and choke). When I was in nursing school and we were doing clinicals in labor/delivery, our instructor warned us if we walked away leaving a baby on it's back we would be expelled (this was in the mid 80s)
I Love Birds and feed the crows 3 times a day. Just bought another hummingbird feeder and a first time 18 inch diameter bird bath for all to enjoy.. Birds give me peace in my heart through these days of hostility. May you all find peace in your hearts all those who watch this peaceful program called 'Across The Fence'
