Folks this will NOT reset the Service Due message, you have to have a real diagnostic computer to do this. Autozone, Car Quest, O’Reillys. Annoy do this unless they have a real scanner that can program the computer. Audi does this so you need to take it to a shop and have a real tech plug into your car with a computer that usually costs several thousand dollars. Don’t waste your money on a cheap 40-500 hand scanner, IT WILL NOT RESET THIS. I am using a Autel Maxie Elite 2 diagnostic/programmer to reset this annoying message. I am also removing the seat belt alarm, and a few other beeps, bells, and buzzers that I hate hearing when I get in my car. Do need an alarm to tell me I left a key in the car, or to turn off the car when exiting, or to put a seat belt on, also removing the automatic brake or putting the car in park if I open the door, there are times I need the door open when say backing into a tight area, or looking at something while moving. Never had these stupid alarms growing up all my life, not some gen z snowflake, so I don’t need warnings on what could happen. If I ever sell the car I will of course have to put the annoying alarms back on, but not while I own it.
Thanks good video. I have the same dash but the menu stalk is on the right of the steering column. Otherwise identical however my Astra ‘18 doesn’t have this option in the menu. Im in Australia & it’s maybe a difference in the software? Any idea what to do?
Thanks for this info, but it doesn't work for me. I've tried ten times, but nothing stays on. Peugeot 308 sw Gt Allure 2018. What could be the problem, I do regular maintenance, but this doesn't work. Greetings
