The style of flip hairstyle you have in this video is very similar to the flip hairstyle that I had in the 1960's. We used large wirey rollers and were super uncomfortable to wear to bed but to get the right kind of flip for school the next day, had to wear them to bed. Then they came out with soft spongy type rollers which were much better. The flip hairstyle you have in another video, (shorter), and flip is different, is not the style of flip (although very cute) is not the style of flip from the 1960's though.
I grew up in the late 1960's and 70's and we wore "cullote" skirts. I probably spelled "cullotes" wrong. Looked like a skirt but had a short look to it. It came to just above the knees, not super short. The one you are showing on the video is much shorter then the ones in 1968. Also, they were not caller skorts in 1968, thet were called "cullotes.

Have you looked for "mood rings"? Popular in 60's and 70's. Also, I grew up in the 60's and 70's and there was a top that was popular called a "Poor Boy top.' It had a pull ring on the front middle of the top that you could pull down a little bit. The top was also ribbed with vertical lines ribbing. Have you ever seen this top? It was super popular when I was in Jr. High. Yes, we called the schools Jr. Highs in those days (not middle school). I had a emerald green poor boy top.and wore it a lot! Oh, the pull ring was made of metal, not plastic. P.S. I don't remember if Poor Boy tops was actually one word "Poorboy" tops or spelled out as two words. 😊 I had this top in the late 1960''s.

I love the silver dress and the gogo outfit, they're iconic! Since I buy and sell vintage I've collected so many amazing formal pieces over the years. I scored a woman's entire collection of 1960s cocktail dresses a couple years ago and kept one for myself, plus her long black cocktail gloves and one of her wigs that she probably wore with it.
