I just bought an old 4 stick, extend-a-hoe John Deere with swing pedals. I haven't used it to dig yet. You make it look easy, but I'm sure when I go to use mine I'm going to find out just how difficult it can be to operate as smoothly and precise as you did. You sure know your stuff!
if i ever get another heavy equipment operator job i would not want to use the hoe on a CASE Backhoe with CASE controls or 4 stick as people call it. i'd rather run pilot controls or wobble sticks in a CASE Backhoe
Honestly I feel that, My last job had a OLD. New Holland backpack 4 stick I hated the hoe, then they hired a company that brought in a new case backhoe with joysticks and that was a dream to operate the backhoe part. So I'm hoping when I get this job as a backhoe operator they have joystick controls for the backhoe even tho they run Deere equipment
Yeah this guy is such a good operator why is he got the Dirt Pile so close to the edge of his hole that shows me he really doesn't know what he's doing I was always taught to keep the Dirt away from your hole
Nice job operating , I don't think I heard that machine bang or clang once .I hope your very busy because I'm sure most of your compition isn't that graceful
Now this video brings back memories. The first case i ever operated was a 4 stick foot slew. Scared the hell out of me at first, but once I got into the swing of things I became fond it. Your a good opperatior Mate. Rock on.
Makes me realize idk how much I've played with a backhoe as a mechanic for Case so far. I'm used to dealing with sticks n maybe pedals on these things, not so much joysticks. I am not an equipment operator by any means, but I like both, I'm yet to deal with an older excavator. But so far I love the semi modern foot pedal skid we got. btw congratulate the old man before he dies for me, man gave his life for this shit I ought to respect the bro. hope he jerks with the new fresh doods on the squad other than being a grumpy chain smoking divorcee
Nice, 4 stick is the best. Spent the 80's on the 580, 680 and 780. Preferred the 780. Don't know why Case discontinued the 780. It was smoother, more grunt. Lots of sewer and water renewal on that one.
