Why did they change the lyrics about Jesus marching into hell and returning with the keys in his hand? Seems disrespectful to the original artist. Even if you don't believe Jesus went to hell those three days he was in the tomb, you could just interpret the lines metaphorically. Or maybe it's just a different version I don't know.
I can understand where you are coming from. Interpreting it metaphorically could work, but then you would be sending a different message to the hearers about what you believe (because not every hearer would interpret it the same way). Thus, to avoid confusion about what we believe, we opted to change some of the wording. Though, it could seem disrespectful to the original artist--it is not uncommon for arrangers to change wording. Side note: Not to begin a debate (but to be clear); we believe that Jesus did not go to Hell--but rather sprinkled the sacrificial blood upon the mercy seat. Another reason as to why, is because of Jesus' words to the thief on the cross, "today shalt thou be with Me in Paradise." (Luke 23:43). Great question and genuine concern! Thank you so much for reaching out and it was my pleasure to answer you. Hope this helps!
No books, no folders, all of the singers with their heads up singing in four part harmony. The words were sung clearly. Great orchestra. Excellent performance!
The music should be available for purchase through the Heartland Baptist Bible College bookstore. The link to the bookstore is here: heartlandbookstore.com/ I would encourage you to check in sometime for the music. If they do not have it available, they will at least help give you more info regarding the music than I would personally know. Thanks for asking! I hope this was a help.
I clicked on You tube and this video popped up. What really caught my attention was the singers knew the music and looked at the audience. Their heads were not buried into a folder. I enjoyed this video.

Would you recommend the missions program at Heartland? I’ve been researching and praying about different Bible colleges and just ran across your channel.
I would recommend it! If you’d like, I would be happy to share my number with you + answer any questions you may have. The most important thing is that you follow the Lord to where He wants you to study + that will be the best place for you!
Well, KJV would be the "version". If you're speaking of which "publisher", not much will range between publishers of the KJV. I personally use a "Church" Bible from "Local Church Bible Publishers". Good question!
I beg thy pardon, yes I meant the publisher, and also they’re minor differences? Wouldn’t that be important as the basis of the KJV ONLY movement there could be only one that is the infallible Word of God?
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For Jesus was persecuted first. How does this have relevance to the song? Well, I believe HE IS ENOUGH, not wealth, prosperity or even health is more important than your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Prosperity Gospel leads people astray.
