I'm contemplating this because my AC drain hole that goes to the firewall is leaking into the car because the Part that goes into the engine compartment is actually molded plastic part of the whole unit they got smashed so now I need to find a hose that can fit it..I use some sealant to seal around it but I would like to extend the attachment any idea what size hose I need
is the evaporator apart of the housing? I am looking to do this myself and am unsure whether or not I will need to buy another part or if it comes along with the housing. In addition, do you have to replace passenger side where cabin filter is too?
The garage said the dashboard must come off. I took out the glove box, four screws inside and four screws in the engine bay to get out the black box. The truth is that there is the blower box on the right, the evaporator box in the middle and the heater box inside the center panel. The evaporator box is the wide part of the black box right behind the plastic glove box. The heater box has the pipes from hot engine which are NEVER together with ac coolant. It is a ridiculous lie. I paid 0 euros to check the evaporator, which looked shiny and did not leak. The compressor leaked. Chevrolet Matiz 1.0 L 2005 64 hp.
Hi Kenjaireh , I have the same model and recently mode servo stopped working. I could not change the mode vents to blow air at my face. :Tried or fix it and found three servo dampers under the gloves box. Checked them all and they worked perfectly, lubricated them etc. While they were removed pressing mode button was still changing air flow direction which lead me to thinking that there must be 4th servo. I have confirmed that there is 4th servo motor that acts with mode button by removing all three servos and still getting the mode working to other positions. Can u please point out on your video that where can I locate it , as well as if I will have to remove the dash to get access to it? Thanks
Thank you for this amazing video , it really helpful. However, I’ve removed every bit of parts, bolt and nuts shown in this video and the dash still won’t come off, seem to be well grounded and the center (the radio part). I’ve I missed something? Please help
