people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture are like a tree without roots. the best way to fight an alien and oppressive culture is to embrace your on. being an African does not just mean i was born in Africa. it means i have embraced my culture and acknowledged my worth. i am an African, not because i was born in Africa but because Africa is born in me.
our aim is to have a generation of millennials who are proud of their background and culture. in the era of moving towards a global village, we should be part of the globe but with out distancing ourselves from who we are.
