Wow, looks amazing. I am just in the process of booking this exact tour for November 2025 so thanks for helping me make my mind up. What time of year did you go, and do you have any tips. Many thanks again.
@tympt1 Hi, thanks for your message. We went towards the end of April and into May. As for tips, sleeping on a train is an experience, especially if you are 6' 1". Not a lot of room, but great fun! The weather when we went was very hot, especially in Cambodia, 40-45° most days. It's a fabulous trip, you will not be sorry you booked it! Did you see my video of The Killing Fields? I decided to keep the two videos separate for obvious reasons. Thanks again for your interest
@DJStuartLee it was amazing, you really must do it! Mercury Holidays were our tour guides. Following the trip, we spent a few days in Zanzibar, just to unwind. It's a great add-on to the holiday. You should be able to find my video on my channel.
Hi. It was a day tour visiting two whisky distilleries, Glengoyne and Deanston. It also stops at a few other scenic locations. Weather was as good as you can expect for Scotland. Hope you enjoy your trip 👍🏼
You both looked like you had a great time, me and the family are going there in July 24. I noticed you had drone footage, I plan on taking my drone too, did you have to apply for another operators id in Malta or can you use the UK one?
Hiya, yes we had a great time thanks, I'm sure you will as well. I took my DJI Mavic Mini, and was able to fly using my operators license. Obviously I paid attention to the rules regarding flights over people, but at less than 250gm there isn't really any restrictions. Let me know if you post any drone footage from your holiday, I'd be interested to see it!
Hello Christopher, I'm going to the same hotel and what should I pay attention to when shooting with a drone here, is there a problem or is it free to use drones?
Hi there. I didn't encounter any problems flying my drone. I obviously paid regards to others and only flew when it was safe to do so. I would recommend taking it to the beach as well, the scenery is fantastic and will get you some excellent results. I will subscribe to your channel and look forward to seeing your video! Good luck 👍🏻
@@christophersmart1088 Thank you very much for the good information you have provided. If I can get some good shots, I'll let you know here when I publish them 😊 many greetings
As far as i see, the water is not that inviting and attractive like any other tropical beach in the Caribbean or Maldives or something like that. Am I wrong?
Who the hell brings a drone with them when they’re on holiday ? YOU !! setting a very high bar for everyone else with your brilliant video, partner been at me for years to go to Malta but you know when you get something into your head, I imagine it because it’s built with those square stones to be like Glasgow on a sunny day !
Hi, amazing video, thankyou for posting this, so much effort gone into this creation!! We are going in October 😊 Can i ask, did you have much disruption from the building work of new swimming pools, weve just been informed. Thanks
Hi Rachel. Many thanks for your kind comments re my video 😊 As for building works, there was nothing going on while we were there. Sorry I can't help you.
Thanks Ian, thanks for your comments. Friends of ours just came back following a week at the same hotel and said that they ran out of time to see everything. They did say the temperature was a bit more bearable and cost less than it was in July though!
Hi what a fantastic video and tour you gave of us around beautiful Malta and Gozo. I love the island and i have been 4 times now and every visit is special and awesome. I really do love Malta. I would never go in summer far to hot for me. I have been in October once, November twice and March once. Excellent video.
Thanks for your comments Bobby, glad you liked the video. It was very hot while we were there, probably too hot to be honest. It would be good to do the trip again in the Autumn to be able to enjoy the island in a little more comfort. Thanks again for your kind comments 👍🏻
Nice hotel, clean and tidy. food is best in the specialised restaurants. Good choice of alcoholic drinks. Entertainment gets repetitive if you are staying longer than a week.
