Idk how I ended up here but if you are looking for a more secure mount try a quad lock with the vibration dampener. It’s a little pricy but I used it when I did a trip to Colorado from Texas with friends and it did great at keeping my phone on the bike. Also a cardo or senna for your helmet goes a long way with their hands free capability.
I ran into similar groups later in life while trying to stay clean. Teen Challenge, in particular, had similar teachings and hierarchy. I'm glad to see you got out, I was lucky enough to understand what was going on around me and kept my head down, but many people fell prey to their insane dogma. i was raised in a community that followed the same teachings, had friends sent off to alert academy and I actually met some of the duggars at a conference. it's nice to see some of us made it out. not everyone did. ride safe
Grew up in a homeschooled evangelical Christian fundamentalist household myself. Definitely had to grow up late and fast after I finally left the bubble myself, totally feel you there. Getting out and learning to integrate with regular people takes a lot of work so props my guy. Hope due to internet access kids wont have to go through what we did, least not to the same degree 🤞
Also for your circulation issue in your hand/wrists: try holding the throttle like an ice cream cone or a screw driver instead of just having your hand and wrist straight in a fist. If you look up proper hand placement on throttle you can get a better understanding of what I’m talking about. Itll save your wrist!
