What tour did you book? Like what company. Staying at same resort in a few months. Do you feel it was worth the long drive to get there? Can’t decided on Tulum or this one.
We booked through Viator by TripAdvisor. The exact tour is linked in the description. It was a wonderful excursion with really great guides. We really enjoyed the resort as well, however it was our first time in Mexico so we don’t have anything else to compare it to. We knew we didn’t want to stay in Cancun and it was closer to Playa del Carmen which was a highlight for us. The long drive from the airport wasn’t bad at all, we booked a private transfer and it was a very roomy and comfortable van which made the drive nice.
So there is a tram that goes to town..At the grand Rivera princess.. I called the hotel and someone told me no! Just taxi’s good to know!!! How was tram experience??
The tram is just to get around the resort property, it’s a fairly large resort so the tram does loops every 10-15 minutes around. The only way downtown Playa del Carmen is by taxi or private transfer. We took a taxi and got our drivers info so we could call him and have him pick us up. I wish I kept his contact because he was great! But the hotel will set you up with a taxi and just ask the driver if they can also pick you up.
Enjoyed your Alaskan cruise videos. And liked your intro vid. You might consider a video which tells your story, how you met, where youre from, what you do when not exploring the world or posting videos. I think your audience would enjoy connecting with you and getting to know you better. We will be heading to Alaska in two weeks for May cruise. My wife and I along with 9 other couples are sailing on Bliss to Alaska this coming last week of August. Wife and I are celebrating our 37th anniversary for trip. Really looking forward to it. Currently looking at excursions. Just booked a helicopter trip out of Juneau stop into mountains to a glacier to go Dog Sledding. Again thanks for the video!
