I did tour of Germany with Neil and Paul late 80's. I remember lots of spandex and sweat. . . and a horrendous journey home from mid Germany due to Smegs (Paul) shitty driving skills and gearbox destruction. Wish I still had the guitar I bought off Neil. Vinni MJTC.
Actually it was. German, French and Italian. Little Germany! Isn’t that the football cup made by Fattorini the Italian jewellers? All the Germans and Italians were deported during WW2 I think!
If only the once proud city of Bradford looked like that now ! Sadly it was handed to the third-world poverty stricken clowns ! Now it is a shit hole !
I moved to Bingley in 1963 at the age of 6 and do remember some of the high street shops as on this film. I also watched the show jumper Harvey Smith competing in the bottom meadow so perhaps this was one of the times. Farmer Little was the headmaster of the secondary modern in my years there but it did get to be called Beckfoot at the latter end of my time
She's a beautiful aircraft taken out of the sky to soon If I remember that was the 1 and only time Air France took a Concorde to Leeds Bradford Airport
Thanks for putting this on, I was a member of pdrc in the 70s, I seem to remember meetings at a pub in elland with Murty and others. The early days at Melbourne were great.

Old Bradford (up until 1970s) was a great place to live - clean, safe, most people didn't have much but look at em in these films and see how they appreciated what they had, respected their fellow citizens and took pride in hard work to make a great city for everyone..... and now look at Bradford today - any decent Bradfordian (I stress "decent") would be ashamed.
A few years ago my wife & I went to an exhibition at Cartwright Hall, parking behind Lister Park. The large houses behind the park are really stunning. But now a really deprived area sadly.
