Thanks for chatting us through the job. All IV done in 20yrs is c2 beaver tail or tipper work. 18mth ago then said boss wanted me to get C+E....(tbh I didn't want it) anyway passed and with in 2 hrs colled a new king lowloader then collect a 22t excavator on a housing estate. I'm well fine with plant movement ridged or arctic. Been on tippers and spanners for last six months Now tomorrow he wants me on tipper arctic..... Not even sat in the thing...... bricking it.
You open the sheet to stop it creating a vacuum and then dragging your sheet into the trailer and bending the bar. That’s what I was always told and always let the load push you forward if not you’ll not be long before you lose the back door, not so bad on agg trailers .
I find opening the sheet when tipping stops any of the load getting stuck between the bar and the sheet hence ripping also I suspect if its windy if the sheet stays closed while tipping a gust of wind could turn the sheet into a sail and pull the trailer over

There a town in Wyoming. Chyannee Wyoming. Theres a snap brother's this cattle hauler pulled in ass he pulled in barfing out the window. Blowing chunks. Pulled nose first into a spot jumped out started walking to the stoor. About half was there. He stops he pulled his pants down squirting liquid intestines out on the concrete. Like a river of crap. Massive crap. Flue crap. And i passed on dinner.

Haven't come across a UK trucking channel that's quite the same as EfA. It's not until you disappear for a few months:) that you really start to appreciate the nuances. BGM, multi-cam, conversations in the cab! Come back mate😎
Fine line between defensive driving and being a t**t, and for me you crossed it. Shouldn't have been paired up, multiple times it boarded on dangerous driving and could have ended alot worse if people wasn't paying attention/ refused to yeild. You also need to remember your a moving billboard for your company who pay your wages and if you get away with it from everything else I can't imagine your manager would be happy driving in that manner. Love the videos usually Tom (not this one)
Great Vid Tom. Thinking of a change from RDC and store deliveries to ridged tipper, Live in East Cheshire so plenty of it to go at. Any other content with pros and cons would be helpful, day in the life and all that kind of stuff 👍👍
