when kiss and tell came out i thought to myself, wow this is the last time i'll get a blink song from tom (cause this riff is so blink coded) and here we are all these years later with so many blink songs to splurge on.

I’m here for this very part of Heaven (53:16) from time to time cause it’s like once in a million years that AvA playing this live 😂 From 4 times begging to 4 times yelling and forcing 🙃🙃🙃
atom Willard told him to change his singing to a more “proper” form, but also this concert is pretty heavily pitch corrected, whereas blink is not as much
@@perk9696 uh thanks, I don't get why he doesn't take lessons 😅. I like his peculiarity but sometimes it's too much 🤣. Btw do you remember where you heard that?
@@allnothingbadhonestly I forget I think it was either the AvA or Blink 182 wiki, maybe an interview from Tom? That’s why Tom has a more clear singing voice on AvA records whereas blink is a more “punk” sounding, whiny voice. His whiny singing is why we have “voice inside my yead” because he was trying to hit a hard note in his register
As a teen I loved Blink-182 I preferred Toms vocals tbh then when AvA came out with Tom as lead vocalist I lost my shit I couldn’t believe it, when I first heard The Adventure I was hooked & been hooked ever since. So many people have said it Tom deserves so much more credit as a vocalist/songwriter he is amazing, everyone who hears AvA are truly blessed to those that haven’t or won’t hear there music have missed out
I usually get annoyed any time I notice or realize there's pitch correction on a vocalist in a band. With Tom, it just doesn't bother me. The pitch isn't the point with him and it never has been. I think he's been using it on albums since Take Off Your Pants and Jacket at least anyways. It definitely works with the AVA sound as well, though it'd be cool to do it more 'authentically', it just doesn't bother me that he doesn't always elect for that.
I ran down the stairs and into the garden, put both my hands into the soil. in the spring, you will bloom, like her heart, through the blouse, in the back of the ambulance, as it turned and turned in the streets (just one more turn won't you come back to me) as it turned on its red lights, you were turning into red roses but I'm not giving up.
So I love this all to death, but I’m super suprised that this documentary is like 10x better quality than any copies of the actual concert on RU-vid. Kinda disappointing.
