Geilometer! Ich als Langzeit Stalker-Fan (angefangen mit dem Buch und Film von Tarkowski, bis hin zu den Spielen bin wirklich positiv überrascht, eine wirklich top Arbeit! Macht weiter so!

Beside the deus ex machina teleportation, this was a good episode, like the rest of this mini-series. As a whole, i can see the passion shining through this entire production: the mixture of Tarkosky's Stalker with Roadside Picnic was clearly made with passion that feels like a love letter. Combine the beautiful cinematography (rather than obnoxious ADHD-style shaky cam) with good storytelling and you got a little gem right there. It's a shame that being a sequel to a somewhat obscure story (at least in the west, combine with the current wave of Russophobia) mean that not many people will watch this. I sincerely hope that one day you'll be able to make a full-fledge adaptation of the original novel, since you have shown through this mini-series that you not only have the talent, but that you really seem to care/understand about the source material to make something good. And the simple fact that this was made for free, instead of for profit, certainly make us wonder why are we paying for commercial crap when we see such good stuff for free. Even though i'm still using a dinosaur era 1080p display, i can imagine myself going back to this and watch it again in 4k, whenever i'm gonna have such display (i'm in no hurry to upgrade so far). So, in the end, i can only say thank you for the entertainment that this series provide me. It was a good time!
Thank you! There was only just a tiny bit of hope that someone would like it when I was finishing the post-production. Very glad that it turned out to be this way. Let's hope that independent filmmaking won't ever be overshadowed by the commercial, that would possibly mean death to cinema.
Beautiful. Just beautiful. I fully believe this mini series captures the perfect blend of the original source material with Roadside Picnic and the directorial touches of Tarkovsky. I feel privileged to have been here and watched this series

Once again an out-of-the-ballpark episode! The way you used the lighting of the bar to make the truckers eyes look so empty after what happened was golden. I hope our mustached stalker friend isn't hurt too badly, though

Also vom Roman wurden lediglich einige Charaktere und das Setting mehr oder weniger "übernommen", da sich die Geschichte hier einige Jahrzehnte später abspielt. Viel Inspiration kam auch durch den Film "Stalker" von Tarkovsky. Der Rest ist frei erfunden :)

I personally would've prefer a direct adaptation of the novel, but personal preference aside, what there is here is pretty good and i'm looking foward the next episode!....speaking of which, how many episode this series will have, and when are they gonna be released?
Thank you. An adaptation of the novel is definitely on my wishlist, but it requires way more experience and much much more money. This project was done with my private budget mostly in my free time and is the first of that size. Episode 2 will release on 21. April. Episode 3 on 24., Episode 4 on 27. and the last one on 30.

Schon beim ersten Upload gesehen. Sehr atmosphärisch. Dennoch empfinde ich die bisherige "Sprechrolle" eher ermüdend, da die noch nicht sichtbare Person viel zu geschwollen redet. Viel zu viele Pausen und am Funkgerät/Handy zu nuschelnd. Ansonsten freue ich mich schon auf die Episoden, die kommen werden. :) Cheeki Breeki
Danke dir fürs Feedback! Es ist definitiv Verbesserungsbedarf an viele Stellen vorhanden, was im Endeffekt alles auf die Regie, also an mich, zurück zu führen ist. Auch das Thema "Ton" in dem Ausmaß ist für mich was ganz neues gewesen und da wurde auf jeden Fall für die zukünftigen Projekte sehr viel mitgenommen an Erfahrung. Freut mich das es dir trotzdem gefallen hat!
