Someone needs some Mickey Thompson mt05’s on that bad boy and traction control turned on when dad is behind the wheel, lol. The exterior may be fine but I know there is two seats that didn’t start out brown that now need replacing, lol.
God R33s are so Underrated its always “ oh my god its the R34 or R32 or R35!” I love all except R35 because its ass but its nice to see people giving love to the R33 for once
This is like when i am singing and the artist forgets the lyrics. This man is driving but the car forgot how. Going sideways is like eye candy. Reminds me to get my gt3fiddy out
I just wanna say... if there was clutch slip or not i don't know, but the rear end kicked out which he had to turn into to correct. That is caused from wheel spin, not clutch slip. Maybe dad wasn't used to that type of power?
Clutch slipping can cause rpm's to spike then when it finally grabs it causes the tires to break loose. Clutch was halfway out the door during this video.
That wasn't clutch slippage. When he came off the clutch, he floored it and that's the reason for the spin at the rpms he was at. Seems to me after that, he went back to spinning again before he tries to go into third as the video cuts off. I drove a 19 6 speed manual GT, if you come out of it in second and full throttle it again, it will go back into a spin especially if you don't have upgraded tires to grip.
It was a slipping clutch. He was at low rpm's in first and when he shifts to second, the rpm's spike too fast bc the clutch isn't grabbing immediately and when it does the rpm's are still high and cause the tires to spin, once he gets the tires to grab after he accelerates but the tires don't spin because accelerate as hard before shifting into 3rd
@@Puffdaddyjose yeah I actually met the previous owner and her and her friends definitely didn't take it easy on the car. I replaced the clutch last January and it's been fine since 🙌🏽
Summer tires, RWD and temps under 40 makes for super easy drifting. Driver looked calm getting it back. I'd also never quick shift anyone else's car for the sake of their sincros.
Temps were not under 40° the screen actually says 55 and I had driven all morning and we just stopped at the store to grab something. He knew what he was doing I just wasn't ready for him to do it lol
if its clutch slip put in 6th and floor it. also dont ever rest your hand on the shifter while driving easy way to prematurely wear out synchros in the trans. looks like wheel slip more than clutch slippage if its clutch slippage it would be putting less down overtime either way great save killer car and get that shit fixed if it is slippin ive just never seen clutch slip cause a loss of traction under full acceleration keep em coming
It was clutch slippage, eventually I was driving for a shoot and it almost completely gave out on me but luckily I could still get it to move to a shop early last year.
@@Shiftnlift Take care of yourself Unc. You know you got high blood pressure and diabetes. No need to get so pressed about silly comments. Lay off the pork.
It's too bad you didn't learn that you go from first gear to second gear when accelerating because that's what he did. Why would he be grabbing 4th gear going 30mph and accelerating?
@@kevinkato2339Yea it's called wheel spin. You could see it kicked the car sideways a bit and the driver had to correct the steering. If it was clutch slip he wouldn't have spun the wheels...
@@Royalty_Visuals you don’t leave your hand resting on the shifter when you’re not going to shift. You shift then take your hand off the shifter, never ever rest your hand of the shifter
@@MuziMuziMuziMoo and what is your logic for that statement? There's no issues leaving your hand on the shifter or are you going to say, "10 and 2 at all times"?
@@Royalty_Visuals I believe the reason for that is it is causing wear to the transmission, in newer cars it’s not that big of a deal, but if there is any shake in the shifter, holding your hand on it is going to cause the transmission end of the shifter to vibrate against all the gears, sorry if that is a poor explanation
