How did that system cost you three to $400 only? just a pouch alone is $160. The belt is another hundred and something I’m just curious because I live in Canada.
Joel you answered all my questions. My big thing was the hammer holder. I've been using the Journeyman for a few months on interior remodels and its almost perfect. Almost. I don't love the hammer loops on the vest when I use my Stiletto framer when doing demo work. Like you talked about, it just hangs up and you really have to work at getting it back home. I'm going to order the holster you have and wear it in the back. Thanks for the honest review. Jack Cape Cod Massachusetts
Good to hear it has held up. I have a whole set up as well but the past 2 years have been jobs where I didn’t need to strap on the belt too often so I wasn’t able to torture test mine yet.
Thanks for the first real honest review from a real tradesman with real world problems. Great tips and hindsight most insightful video ive watched on youtube. 👍
This is the only video review I found about the Atlas 46 Harvey premium. I thank you for you assessment. I'd like to see it in action loaded with tools n such..you should model it for us. I've been in the business 20 years. Im a Complete D.E.Yer- Do Everything Yourselves, and amateur engineer/ tinkerer, welder, all around very cool guy. I can be a little bit of a know it all at times.... but thats because I do....hehe. I love tools. I hang my favorites on the wall like they are in a museum. Lol. I have the best known tools across every phase in the building world. I have a tool for everything and can replace brokedown parts inside these tools. I pride myself on being Mr. Gadget fix it all. I have the best tools on the market. I always wait and save my money.... for months sometimes. Do the research and buy the best for a premium price. But it shows in my work and my attitude. The only time I buy cheap like say Harbor Freight or Hart is if I'm buying consumables. Like blades, sandpaper, chisels, and for some reason all my life till recently....work boots and work belts fell into this category of consumables.
I'd burn through $145 Timbo Pros in 4 months. $50 Husky Belt might last a year before it's so stretched out its loose or the knife has slowly poked thru the cloth at the bottom. Or the steel rivets rust or....They fall apart.
Good review. I’m not sure what that beeping is in your videos but the quality would be much better if you silence the beep. I know for myself I wonder about the fit of the system. I’m f you make another video of atlas maybe show it on. Just some suggestions, but the video was good and very informative thanks!
I think it was between $300 and $350 US. I haven’t found the suspenders that bad actually. I keep the belt pretty tight so not all the weight is on my shoulders although it did take a bit the get use to them.
