I would get chewed smooth out for doing this😂 and I'm not saying it doesn't work it's just I've never been taught this. I'm only familiar with the bonnet method
This is excellent! May I ask, which 175 machine do you recommend? Also, you mentioned not to go with high speed. I'm new, can you please explain why? What would be a good use case for the high speed one? Do they have ones that have low and high speed? Thank you again!! 🙏🙏
It should be noted that red pads cannot be used on light colored carpets because it will bleed and ruin them. There are bonnet pads specific for this type of cleaning or just use neutral color pads. Great job though.
Great video , sir!! Quick question Why do you use a red pad instead of a bonnet pad. Just asking because I’ve always used bonnets pads. But it is always good to learn something new.
Is there an actual brush type head for the floor buffer or would it be okay to use red pad then go back over it with a bonnet? Also you use a pre spray is there additional cleaners used or just the pre spray? Thanks
Hey Man I appreciate this information. I was wondering do you suck up the detergent spray dirt mix with a shop vac or something after you scrubbed it with the machine? Thanks
Moses, I have been looking for a carpet solution for my low speed buffer. You have answered my questions and helped another floorman up his game. Thank you - Subbed and Liked also. Todd - PerfectFloor Service
Instead of a red pad, have you used a bonnet? I find the ones with the green scrub stripes work best, and for heavily soiled areas, more water, then an extraction with a heated extractor.
Good luck getting that around in a large building. The King Cobra is the ultimate extractor because of all of its use cases, and it's half the price of the Titan.
@@heroinmom153 they make a wheel kit for the titan 575 now so you can bring it inside buildings and houses and stuff you need a couple people to help move it upstairs its kinda heavy
@@heroinmom153 lol im talking about an 800lb gas powered truck mount that is only meant from van or trailer use and bringing it inside peoples houses 🤣
I have been doing carpets for years and was told this is an improper way to clean a carpet. I was screamed at, thank you for proving me right once again my man.
This method is approved by the IICRC. Encapping is cheaper, faster, and allows for much quicker use of the carpet. The IICRC recommends this as maintenance cleaning. Its great for in-between maintenance with HWE, as HWE is more expensive, more time consuming, and requires a much longer dry time. Each method has its place and purpose. Cheers!
This is a good video, but this is what they call a quick fix. At some point the carpet will need to be extracted after this procedure with the low speed machine.
