The other option is to take the admissions process completely out of their hands and put it into a third-party. Social engineering is not the function of a university. It simply to accept the most qualified candidates, academically , with a secondary emphasis on extracurricular activities. Therefore, it should be possible that the entire class be Asian or the entire class be white or the entire class be African-American he's going to need to be punished.

Undergrad students need to realize that professors are not teachers. They are not there to "teach" you. They are there to "guide" you through the course. You do your own study and the professor discusses the theories and its applications during lectures. That's why we have reference books / textbooks. Edit: the teaching part is usually done by Tutors / TA. That's why we have them.
A teacher is supposed to make it as easy as possible for students to learn hard things, people pay a lot of money for collage, the teachers work for the students not the other way around. Students should be able to choose between different teachers just like you can choose a different doctor at the hospital.
If you think that a University professor's job is to make things easy, I don't think that you understand the purpose of a college education. Or indeed, any efucation. The job of a teacher is to help you get to the point where you can do things that are hard. Maybe they will eventually become easy, but that isn't guaranteed to any of us.
Kowing your subject does not make you a good teacher. many of them need to do teacher training and the English woman spoke so falsely. What a pretend snob. Classsssssssssssssss. Come on. I an Englsh so I can say that.
