Hi! I just installed UVDesk, I have configured everything except for the Email Settings section because the data isn’t being saved. Am I missing something? Because the other settings are done, I’m assuming that’s why the emails aren’t being sent or received once the ticket is submitted from the portal.
I get this error Unable to locate the path on the server. Hide details Try putting index.php after your helpdesk installation's site url or If you are using apache, make sure that mod_rewrite module is enabled and AllowOverride directive for document root is set to All/FileInfo in your server's configuration file.
For the love of God, please update your installation documentation. Installing it on apache2 is a nightmare if you never used apache2 or MySQL without a gui. Some errors in it are in there since 2020. None of your videos are helpful, if you don't or can't use docker. As example it is chmod 777 -R Not 775. Additionally chmod 777 -R Public folder path is missing. (Otherwise installation fails at step 4) Composer as of now not working.(For me) Php bin/console..... Throws an error in line 254. Also it is not mentioned that you have to put it in your www folder. Php 7.3 throws an error in Apache2 with the given list of php modules in your documentation. Works with php 8.1.2 It was a learning experience in MySQL and Apache2 but very frustrating.
I have been using UV desk for alsmost a year now and do really like it! but whoever made this video did a poor job. you should start from the beginning and install all dependencies step by step so any new user can follow it and set this up free of issues.
I think you need to add autofill feature once the agent try to create a ticket for the customer. Meanwhile, there is an issue with the customer portal that even the customer login using his user and password account he has the ability to create a ticket with whatever name and email want and that will added automatically as a new user into the admin portal.

Yes auto creation of ticket will be there, first need to configure the mailbox with UVdesk helpdesk, as mailbox allows all the e-mails sent to your specified e-mail address to be automatically imported as the support ticket in your helpdesk system. @@Uvdesk I'm seeing the same issue. I am using Bitmapi WAMP and I downloaded uvdesk from the link you posted above but I am getting "This site can’t be reached". I see the Bitmapi page when I go to localhost and I can see the index directories under the uvdesk folders from the browser.
