If it's regard to cutting out the steel for the the mill, I use a plasma cutter and angle grinder, if it about the angle grinder that runs the mill it's a 125mm Ryobi grinder. I hope this answers your question. Cheers Pete
Welcome to prospecting, I hope your finding some colour. Any type of pump is legal in Victoria, you can use highbankers and trommels as long as you hand feed them, no suction dredge or mechanical mean. Cheers Pete

I was lucky enough to find a 0.23 g piece of gold on the Saturday and another 4 smaller bit on Sunday for a total of just over half a gram. I also won the rock crusher in the raffle. I saw you at Hume&Iser yesterday, but my body and brain weren't working after a couple of big days and nights on the piss, only realising after you had passed. Thanks again for the great weekend Pete. So I took your advice with the nugget I found on Sunday and gave it a swim in acid for a few days. What started out as 9.17g ended up being 8.75g so cleaned up. Cheers mate. Rick

While I didn't find any gold I met a lot of awesome people and well, maybe the real gold we find is the friends we make along the way. Was a great day, Pete. Those raffle prizes were absolutely top quality and worth splashing some cash on. Can't wait for the next one.

I attended my first subs day and had a great time, ... met lots of friendly people, had some excellent conversations, liked the raffle and bbq, enjoyed the atmosphere, and had a bit of fun having a dig and pan around the creek. Thanks for running such a great event Pete.
