i just changed the shifter cable... and the gears shift very smoothly but i have no tension at all on the barrel. If i add tension then the gears will make noise,,, i think because my cable is new im guessing it doesnt need to much extra tension? Thanks
Safety. The allen key skewer is more secure, and kids can't accidentally open it. The hub is still technically a QR style, so it's very easy to swap if you prefer a quick release lever.

Hello i have a folding bike from the 80's with small 14" Kenda tires on the original steel rims. The bike is a Bridgestone Picnica. These tires also say on the sidewall that the minimum tire pressure is 40 psi and maximum psi is 65 psi. I have 30 psi in my tires at the moment just because i'm afraid that my rims cant handle so much as 40 psi. Do you think that they can handle higher air pressure without any problems?
There are a few things that could cause this and it's a little difficult to troubleshoot in the comments section here. Please contact us at support@prevelo.com or (805) 557-8300 and we'll make sure to get it sorted out. If you email us, if you include a video of the wheel it will help us diagnose the issue.
Team, you might consider an update now that the alpha one is shipping with a chain guard. Hopefully it’s simple enough, but it is different than the video so I figured I’d let you know!
Im pushing my front breaks and it's sticking not releasing on its own and i have to manually open them for them to open. What do you guys recommend ive tried everything?😊
I just bought a monza bicycle and I had to finish putting it together, the hardest part was fixing the brakes so I’m glad that I find your video for future needs.
Absolutely the best, most understandable bike brake video I've seen. Solved all the brake questions I had while assembling my new trike. My kids assumed I'm too old to do it by myself (grandma creeping up on 80) and this video helped me prove them totally wrong! It was a difficult job, but my trike is now perfect and I'm having SO much fun riding it! BEST VIDEO EVER!
@@fejkinas unclip the spring from the brake arm and when clipping it back in check if it has contact with the tension screw, behind it, on non-screwdriver side
Really great to see this video! Our kids have had gears since Sept 2021 (when they were almost 6). While they were quickly able to master what's in this video, the hardest thing for us has been getting them to learn how to shift without the cues. Instead of shifting down, they tend to stand up, and we often find them peddling super fast when they are in a low gear on a flat. I've found it super helpful to instead give them cues related to what's actually happening, like, "Is your butt in the saddle?" And when they realize that it isn't, they shift down. It would be great to see a video for how to train the next step! Thanks.
