Can we talk about how terrifying Kenjiro Matsuoka must be with a gun to dome both those guys from across that long ass table in less than half a second?
I hate to say it, but I think you're right. It feels like he's trying a bit too hard to lean into the "quirkiness" of his games instead of just making pieces of art like this.
I started my Suda51 journey why No More Heroes 1 and 2 on Wii, than I played Killer7, Travis Strikes Again and Killer is Dead. I still haven't touch Flower, Sun and Rain, but by just seeing this video I can see where a lot of things from his games come from
I cannot forget the part of the game that makes you walk that whole distance over and over until you get the chance to steal a random guy's bike to skip the walk. Really perfect job lining up the player and the player character's motivations. It's like Sumio Mondo was literally me when he assaulted that cyclist.
