I-Overlander, etc. There's a sweet older traveling couple that is all about free camping. One Advanture at a Time. They've been driving around for, like, eight years. So might have some good info.

I have been delivering pets across the country for over 12 years and haven't had to buy a shower yet.... Also if you book the shower through the cashier and tell them you need a co- driver shower.... you will get two private bathrooms and showers for the price of one credit.... good luck on your van life adventure... You can also get professional trucker rewards card or on the app from pilot and flying j for free showers. If your van is gas anything over 14 gallons get you a half credit, so two fill ups over 14 gallons gets you one credit and a free shower in a private bathroom unlike planet fitness. Doesn't work if it's only pilot diesel and say Conoco gas like some in Wyoming and Montana are.
