I just installed my AAM resonated test pipes last week and just now my check engine came on with code P2098 Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Bank 2, I assume that's because of cats not being there or there might be an exhaust leak, but the bungs that came with the pipes are kind of long and in an elbow shape pointing towards the engine, I heard that having that type of bungs help with the check engine light not showing up but mine just showed up today. does anyone having this type of pipes have your check engine light on? and will this cause any problems driving the car like that?
Hi, I know this is an old video but I was referencing this because I am installing a pioneer 1500nex into my truck. Made understanding what the wires were super easy now. Just wanted to ask, my unit has built in dimmer functions than I can control, manual or based on time of day. I don’t want the radio dimming based off my headlights (the orange and white wire). I am just going to take the orange and white wire out of the stereo harness since it won’t be used. Will I be fine if I do that? Thanks!
Just finished mine used 9 cans an i hope i covered everything most went on the suspension an floor panels hood hinges an door hinges an behind the front an back bumpers
after changing coil packs and spark plugs , my car wont crank or start at all , not even a click . it'll start while having an obd reader connected to it . idk if its a ground issue or what , please help
Just a idea, get yourself a 4x4 and cut it about let’s say 8” long and then just set it on top of the jack where u want to lift since the jack doesn’t go that narrow
do you know what thw problem could be if I had a misfire in cylinder 1 replaced ignition coil fixed it then a misfire in cylinder 5 replaced ignition coil fixed it now I have a misfire on cylinder 7 even though i havent changed the ignition coil for that cylinder could it be something else because all these misfire were a week or less apart
@@AnthonyJ350 Cool. My FX 35 VQ35DE is turning 300K soon. 100K ago a shop tried to sell me 2 VTE solenoids for $750 which I declined and I'm still wondering about their condition.
This has got to be the most confusing explanation I’ve ever come across. While there may be a ton of information your more confusing than ever by pulling fuse turning tap turning fuse come on this is a great way to confuse someone into doing it wrong Just keep it simple wow
@@AnthonyJ350I got it now I had to watch it more and I really followed it very closely and it made total sense after watching several times! I also agree with all other comments that this is a superior explanation of how these taps work ! I think what helped me finally was just not paying attention to you flipping back and forth the tap that really confused me lol and I felt I owed to you my reconsideration and thank you for the video Have a great day
Would you recommend changing the spark plugs and air filter every oil change i'm pretty sure those items would real not need to be change that frequently
Always wanted to see what my G35 (non rev) made. 5/16 spacer, ported upper plenum, test pipes, motordyne catback. The plenum porting really helped mid range all the way up top. Just never got it tuned and dyno'd.
@@AnthonyJ350 I'm sure it likely was. It had the misfire issue I couldn't figure out after doing all the sensors (OE hitachi) and still had misfire. Literally the day I went to trade it, ran flawlessly, no misfire. But its all good I probably might not have known the fun of the supercharged v6 S5.
Does the new one with MC work for garage door openers from 2021? Mine JUST came in from Amazon with the MC, 2012 TL doesn’t want to work with my new construction home and idk if I should scour the internet for an older model or not
This is a perfect example of the result. of the 350z being designed in the US. Just so General Motors in nature IE make the car as customer unfriendly as you can. As dealer service and parts is an American tradition. My 997s and base 992 both have a cover to change the bulb in the wheel well and not a hater wife is a mini Z collector a 350z and 370z both Nismo's. But even changing the oil is a hassle. As the saying goes, if you own a Z and don't have a 10mm socket your effed. 😉
That's newer vehicles in general. And the statement about the 10mm goes for Japanese cars in general. Which is good they standardize the fastener size.
Exactly..what happened to the beautiful 2 note horn in the silverados of the 80s and 90s..it sucks..and thanks to your 8 year battle we are all a bit wiser now. It seems like most things on these trucks are a battle. Oil pump replacement, I rebuilt the transmission and both of these tried my patience
Overall for general maintenance and servicing these trucks are pretty good. But yes not everything is easy. Should watch my heater core replacement video 😆
Hey how it going im currently about to wire in a remote start compustar cm900as alarm im a bit confuse with the starter kill relay and the remote start wires. Hope you can shed some light ive read alot of infor for the pass day but i keep getting confused. Im wiring a tacoma 2010 no immobilizer. Im confuse with what to wire to the relay 85 side if i connect the(-) starter kill output or (-)status output. And if the trigger starter wire should be wire to ignition wire or where? Thanks in advance
Thank you for the respond. How about the the trigger wire on the 18pin harness and starter kill output or they dont need to be wired. Sorry for the confusion im just trying to avoid frying something . I took it to a local installer and he wasn't to confident on doing it so here I am😅 @@AnthonyJ350
Hey can you tell me what was that thing you use for the coolant lines that connects to the throttle bottle ? It’s cold where I’m from so I can’t delete the coolant flowing through my throttle body
I have an '07 Silverado 1500 Classic 2WD. Probably going to level out the front. What brand/model and size tires are on the truck in this video? Mine are 245/70R17 but I think I'm going to purchase 245/75's.
Whats the purpose of oil catch can and how do i know if my 350z is burning oil is that basically the same thing as oil consumption, and does the oil catch can put the oil back into the engine or do you have to do that manually i know you said yours is fixed i believe 🤔 thanks Anthony!
Oil catch can slows the process of oil being fed back into the intake via the PCV system. Changing oil frequently will help make sure oil control rings stay clean. Can try Seafoam to help clean the engine. Also make sure you drive the car slow at the beginning and get to operating temperature.
Do you have any videos on seafoam demo 🤔 if yes pls share link that's something I wana do to clean the engine you know valves pistons if that would do such...
@@anthonyboria5738 I currently don't have one but I do it on vehicles that are neglected then put them on a strict oil change intervals. Project Farm has a really good Seafoam video.
My horn of my sierra started going off on its own lasted at least good two minutes until it got lower and lower and finally it stopped honking and after that my horn stopped working. Do you think this could fix my issue?
How is the ride difference between the 4600 and the 5100 both being at stock height on a 2004 Tahoe z71 4x4? Daily driver no off roading or towing The 5100's l'm looking at are 0-2.5 inches so l know they work at stock height as well but the question I can't find the answer to is what rides between between the two and which would you get if price doesn't matter?
Not bad engineering, just OVER engineering. That shield is an automatic replacement the minute you need a battery or anything else. Need a headlight bulb? Oil change. IT REALLY does make sense if you think about it 😂😂 always replace collateral, need tires? Get a new car, duh...you've driven it so much! 😂
Just curious, I don’t have the ground wire where you do for the interior… where would it be 2004 G35 Coupe! Checked driver side and passenger side interior.
@@AnthonyJ350 I know what to run it from but I cannot find the ground to run it to in the interior is what I mean. I see no ground on the passenger side or driver side
@@AnthonyJ350 no sir, looks nothing like your car surprisingly. I took out the entire panel and there is a wire that runs down it but no ground… unless you made the ground yourself?
Auhh so my 2015 honda accord car alarm keeps randomly going off...i took it to cartoys and they said its a factory alarm and i need to take it to honda...WELL honda charges $130+ alone juat to "check it out"...i did the spraying of the hood latch with wd40 and it still goes off😢
When it does that see if the dome light is turning on. It's also possible you have a faulty remote. I would remove the battery from all your key fobs and see if it stops falsing.
I’ve checked my ground, power , rca , remote with multimeter everything is fine .. so how do I use my multimeter to test my speaker wire and at amp and at sub for my sub wires
My issue is when I turn the radio on I have no bass from subs until I turn it up high and it starts working but it sounds shitty distorted and some days it will work great I don’t get it I’m confused
@@AnthonyJ350 all that’s good it’s been working for last few years I’ve had it just recently went out. Subs only cut on when volume hits 14 and higher anything below that it’s not working , the ground , remote , power, rcas. All have voltage but no volts at the subs wire outlet on amp until it goes up to 14 or more but when it is on u can tell is not full power cuz its distorted and shitty not full bass. So all power is good until the sub oiler on amp , took all subs out and they work , wire good , so I guess the internals of the amp is bad cuz it only works has voltage at oiler when volume is up high
They weren't barrel style pins. They had the open wings like a weatherpack. So you have to use that crimper to fold it over the wire, then crimp the other part to fold over the insulation.
