My nephew bought this truck and was wrecking everything in NY and NJ , had to sell it because of NYS emissions check engine light. The truck was a absolute beast 😈
I just sold this truck the on in this video I love this monster I had it for two years I bought it in oct 2011 my best run was a 11.42 and I have the slip to prove it this was a well built truck I miss it
typical comment. they're not that expensive so i'm not sure what your getting at? it's by far the slowest vehicle ever produced with 430hp and the "fat kid" of the srt8 models. i wouldn't want to drive around the srt8 model that all the other owners of srt8s laugh at. why wouldn't you just buy a challenger they're much better looking, have better mpg, can actually somewhat compete on a track not a drag strip, and are faster on a drag strip also so i really don't see the point of the jeep.
I understand that as well, and I do not perfer drag racing either, and I know that road course racing shows the true performance of the automobile, but I just perfer the SRT8 Jeep, because it defies physics, and it is more comfortable. :)
JEEP SRT8 vs Mercedes SLR McLaren Now, proceed with racing your WRX against a SRT8 Jeep, and see how well it performs, and yes it may perform well, but not that of an SRT8 Jeep. And yes I have an understanding that the Jeep is possibly heavily modifed. :)
Watch WRC and see how will wrx sti's were and are still at this time, that being horrible, and front heavy as well as the evo. Neither of those cars where even any competition for the Focus, and now the Fiesta. LOL And I would most definently take the SRT8 Jeep Cherokee over a wrx sti anyday, especially because of the volume to performance ratio. And for there volume and performance, they are actually very efficent. And in the end it is whatever car that you perfer and makes you happy.
@crazzyboy99 my brothers jeep is still running strong, its modded and he beats the hell out of it. I heard that once u start doing things to the sti it becomes less reliable.....especially if you beat on it.
@ShawnSubaru I agree with you that the srt8 is a monster, but will a jeep be as reliable as a subaru when you have owned it for years? I do like jeep, but the reliability is the only problem with their cars.
