You still rocking with these ? Im thinking of getting a pair of these or a pair of nike sb dunk high pro Medium Grey. What do you think ? I really like 991v2s i have a pair in black and stone island colorway and now i really like this Patta colorway. Nike sb dunk highs are on a different category but theyre also underrated and they also look dope in my eyes. Plus they just a bit cheaper. But which out of two you think is better ?
Hi mate - it's a tricky one because I'm just not a dunk guy at all so I'd always got with the Patta. I really like the pattas but I totally get it that they're super expensive - it depends how much you're into them. If you lean towards the dunks then go for them instead. I think price does matter 👍🏽. Let me know what you decide

These are great shoe for me people are sleeping on it now 😴 but it is an easy cop for anyone who wants them so for the O.G sneaker heads it's ideal as they are still sitting there is no hype beast buzz around this shoe so easy cop for these that want them
Always been a big 998 man... and find they do give with wear once you've worn them a bit and cemented yer plates in them... a great colour these.... tho' they've always done wonderful colours on this model... and they have tweaked them in their comeback in the last year or so after having disappeared for a while and may be a tad more snug tbh
I'm a UK 11 too and was fannying around here oohing n aahing... thinking they may be too loud even tho' I've been a massive Terra Humara Head since they came out back in the late 90s... but then inspired by your review and all round coolness young fella me lad, decided to stop stalling and get in there... so leapt onto thee internet highway with wild abandon.... and naturally... *coughs*... they'd all disappeared in big sizes.... but whaddyaknow...just struck lucky on an Italian site and paid the going rate... HURRAH! I used to go to NY every year...and would seek TH's out constantly... very rarely see anyone else in 'em..always been under the radar, but why I love 'em even more.... Wonderful channel Geez... wonderful channel!
Oh man - you’ve made my day! So glad you go them in the end…they are loud mate but I think they’ll age well! It’s why I do the videos so that I can Interact with us older trainer heads especially! Terra Humaras are beautiful and hopefully we’ll be seeing them get some love from love. Thanks for the feedback man - it’s much appreciated 👍🏽
@@chintweezyskicks yeah - once they've been out in the elements for a bit, they'll calm down a tad he he... then again...sometimes a really loud trainer is all you need to set you up for the day! Just dug out my olive grey/orange ones now too.. I've a good few stored away... a flurry of them 5/6 years ago I recall... anyhoo - good to see there's someone else out there who digs 'em as much as moi.... keep up the excellent content fella!
copped the Teal UNDFTD pair when it dropped. didn’t even know the spikes were exclusive to the collab version until i saw your review. i’m american. (it’s weird saying that… i’ve technically never really thought of myself like that to claim myself as an american but when you’re taking to someone from across the pond i guess…) anyway, i’m 26 yrs old…. so hearing your perspective of owning a pair of these when you worked at a shoe store 25/26 years ago was very interesting. anyway i appreciated the review.
@@inTha803 That made my day reading your response! All those undefeated pairs are top notch and the green pair you've got have grown on me since I made the video. I think If I didn't have the pink pair I'd consider them...Yeah that spikes part is from the collar only and the elevated materials, play dirty etc. Glad to hear from a younger sneaker head -it's all love! Thanks for watching mate - I appreciate it 👍🏽
The Terra Humara is a very unique looking sneaker to begin with so vibrant colors go very well with it. This one actually really looks great on feet, very outdoorsy. And totally agree with you, I'd also tone down the rest of the outfit when wearing them. I have two pairs of which one is a half size small by now, so probably gonna pick up another one once I find a colorway I really want. If the Concepts are sitting now they'll probably go in sale, the you can still grab them 😊. Thanks for the shout-out!
Not at all man - thanks for helping me out! I think I just miss the 90s and am trying to buy all the kicks that remind me of then… I really like this pair and as you say I hope it is the start of a real focus on them
For this pair I went tts but I don’t like a snug fit. I don’t often say it but if you do like a snug I reckon with these you go down 0.5. They do fit a little long.
@@dextermogman It's a pleasure. Honestly, that model is so good, I'd really recommend them. There's a few more colourways out there already -black and pink. Let me know if you pick any up in the end 👍🏽
@@chintweezyskicks i’ve already picked up the Alabaster colorway and I’m very happy. I’ve ordered the pink sherbet ones too! This is the most exciting sneaker in a while… and its luckily flying under the radar. The pair with the red soles are a grail!
@@dextermogmanif those sherbets go into sale I’ll pick them up too - they’re all so comfy in foot! I’m vvvtrying to calm down with the buying but this model is giving me problems!!
I have the white camo ones and the green ones which are very hard to style. You’re right about the quality difference which is mad bc it’s the same shoe. Love the purple-ish pair you’ve got. Glad I found a fellow enthusiast. Subbed 😁
That’s great to hear you’re my favourite kind of subber - wallabees should get more love! I had to sell the blue pair as the wrong size but am still on the look out for a replacement. Such a nice shoe 👍🏽😊
Am sure the toe box had to be done that way is because of the Gore Tex plus other material underneath it which adds bulk, so to compensate they had to design a stockier toe box.
I wore them outside once or twice but I never really loved them so they were near mint. I held onto them as they were in my head a great pair but after a while I’d never wearing them I thought I’d get rid before they retro them. I reckon if they retro them they’ll improve the materials so I got rid while the going was good! Aj4s are pretty sturdy so they hold up well for us middle aged men! Like a tramp on a kipper!! 😂
@@chintweezyskicks had you worn them, except for round the house? They looked in mint condition. I'd buy a pair, but the paint wouldn't hold up long under my weight before cracking. When they retro again though, I'm all over them like a tramp on a kipper.
Chintweezy- I need your help. I’m thinking about buying 991v2s. Actually, the Stone Islands. Interesting that you’re thinking about selling. I’ve been thinking about buying the stone islands for months but have been saving and waiting to see what else came out. Not much good so far. I don’t like the 1000s. With respect to a 991v2, I am very concerned about issues related to “camel toe box”. This phenomenon occurs when a slight indent forms in the middle of the toe box, and or a weakened toe box somewhat collapses in, making the front toe box of the shoe look like a camel toe. This same unfortunate wearing occurs on other New Balance models as well.
Hi mate- part of the reason I sold the stone island pair (they literally went yesterday) is that they felt less roomy than my patta pair which are super comfy. I didn’t notice any camel toe on the stoney pair; the qc was pretty good. One thing I would say with the stoney pair is to try or use a code or something cos I ended up getting mine for 280 but I see ppl buying closer to 400. Ebay do 10% off codes twice a year or so so if you can wait… then If there are QC issues you ll have no problems selling them. They are a super nice pair so I hope you enjoy them when you get them 👍🏽
@@chintweezyskicks thank you for this information. I’m arguing with myself over multiple different models. I don’t know if I want the stone islands, the pattas or the new London marathon model. I’m tryin to narrow it down, I’m thinking of playing it safe with the stone islands. It just haven’t been able to pull the trigger. I’m still having impulses to by the palace 991s, as well. I’m a real mess! I just can’t decide! Keep in mind, I just bought two pairs of ASICS gel nyc shoes as well. If you haven’t tried ASICS gel nyc, I recommend you purchase a pair. Very comfortable!
@@theetruth4267 It's funny, I've had my eye on the gel nye for a while - they had a lovely pink and blue pair...am always up for the comfort. All the 991s you listed are nice and at retail there's no real difference as materials are all comparable. The stoney's are nice but ht London have a great colourway and they're pretty limited. The Patta are really comfy and I wear mine a lot. TBH I've decided that in general the v2 isn't for me - I love the V1 too much but who knows I'd probably change my mind! Maybe get a random v2 pair in and see how they feel on feet and then return them before you commit to resell?
@@chintweezyskicks I know exactly the ones your are taking about- harbor blue/ wood crepe. I am thinking about scooping those myself, before it’s too late,
Mate, totally feeling you on the dent in the toebox and I also think at 220 quid a trainer should be manufactured top notch. Great looking pair though!
Another great review Chint! Quality is always unmatched Made in UK/USA 🔥 I’m still buying trainers in 24 but like you say only pairs I’m definitely going to wear a lot as cost of living is so crazy rn
When it comes to footwear Clarks and Dr Martens are my preferences. I don't have any Wallabies but i do have a couple of pairs of Desert Boots and Desert Nomads, the Nomads fit my feet like they were made by cobblers.
Yeah - it’s one of those pairs where Nike try to make them look good but you’re never too sure. The maroon leather looked ok but definitely not worth full price tho
I think they look good. Like winter style trainer. Be honest I wouldn't buy Nike as nb for that price can't really comment on fit as don't purchase any . Video good 💯
