Saints Row 1 was rough around the edges but still fun. Saints Row 2 was a masterpiece, but the ending was a bit flat. Saints Row 3 was a huge downgrade from Saints Row 2 in all regards except the graphics and the ending. Saints Row 4 was ridiculous, but it was incredibly fun. Gat out of Hell was too short and simple. Agents of Mayhem was unplayably bad. I haven't played the Reboot yet, but I suspect it'll be better than Agents of Mayhem. Overall I'd rank them as such: 2, 4, 1, 3, GooH, Re, AoM.
Flash forward a year, yeah modders still ddos in every lobby and then rockstar says it was you that was doing the ddosing? Yeah, I was just banned because someone used my account to ddos someone's router. And now I can't appeal the decision, all my work gone, character is back to level zero.
Its too addicting lmfao💀💀 I got like 5.3 mil today using mk2 and terrobyte jobs and a facility and I still want to ear more💀 Can't drive around the city for a sec!!! Gotta play more story games now, less grinding as I've pretty much enough money for deluxo and I'll try to enjoy online too when I'm over with purchasing which I guess will take a long time
This video only covers a portion of why this game was the start of Saints Row’s downfall. What really irks me, is that this game seemed to have marked the start of a trend in the series where they end up giving you _less_ with each installment (at least up until 4 - I haven’t been able to play the reboot yet). Like… seriously, just compare SR2 to SR3 in terms of character customization alone. In 2, you could sculpt everything down to the most precise detail, and even have extra personality such as a walking and fighting style in addition to voices, taunts, and compliments. SR3? It kinda feels like we have less control over the preciseness of the character sculpting when most of the sliders jump around at increments of 5 or 10 points, not to mention that while the body style is simplified, it feels like I can’t get it exactly where I want it, and the personality has been watered down to only utilize the taunts and compliments, making our character less unique. Clothing has also been watered down in terms of style customization. In SR2, you could adjust every aspect of your clothes from the undershirts to the overshirts to the jacket, to the logos, to what kind of socks you wanted to wear (if at all), and how you want to wear your hats, and legitimately everything in between. SR3 is just significantly blander with its customization in this regard as well, watering it down to just fixed top styles and logos - only ever allowing you to change the colors to your liking for each individual clothing selection. Like… “oh, you found this outfit with a jacket you like, but you want the collar down and you want to change the shirt to something more like a tee instead of a button-up? Too bad, go play SR2 for that, loser.” Not to mention that you can’t customize your cribs/safehouses to your liking anymore, cutscene rewatching has been removed, and you can’t even replay the missions you did enjoy without having to restart the whole game from the beginning all over again - unless you’re one of those people who make a separate save file after or before every mission for some reason. (And in SR4… they just got rid of safehouses entirely. Which I get from an early-game standpoint, but like… they seriously couldn’t set it up that, like, Kinzie could restore safehouses in the parts of the simulation you had control over? They had to stay gone permanently? What the fuck kind of ass decision is that? Also, missed opportunity having a “completed missions” section in the HUB and NOT ALLOWING US TO REPLAY THEM. … I have my gripes with these games - SR2 is just the best out of the three I played). SR3 also got rid of vehicle diversions (like taxi diversions), money-making minigames (like poker and blackjack), races, most of the more fun activities, strongholds, territory defending - they got rid of or reworked (in a bad way; activities should never be mandatory, nor should they be used for taking over hoods, turning the respect system into an RPG level-up thing that you then throw money at to become bulletproof doesn’t make any fucking sense when compared to the system that just encouraged you to take a break to dick around and cause some mayhem before letting you do another mission, and setting things up to have you earn your abilities that make the game easier) so much of the stuff that made the previous game great. I mean, yeah, sure, Genki S.E.R.C. was a fun new activity, and the brutes were a good way to change up combat from time to time, and they did fix the Insurance Fraud activity to make it less janky and give the player more control of the ragdolling character, and the wacky new weapons and the ability to upgrade them was great. I will give this game props for that… but that doesn’t make up for all the bad shit.
My fav vehicle was van. Yellow color, upgrades to make it look even more VAN. I don't care if it's not fast, not expensive and not bulletproof. It's just van and that's why I liked it, unlike all those stupid futuristic armored trash-cans
Iam at stage 8, numerous times in one week harrased or kicked from session by modders, 4 times in one week some tard giving levels/collectibles to everyone in session. If some tard like this reading this I WANT PLAY AND GRIND IT MYSELF OMG you just fu***ing up some else fun playing gta online, use your brain but i dont know if you have some brain cuz you need use mod menus for your gameplay.
So the thing is i have above average aim but i use the minigun and it’s hilarious to my little brother when i head shot things farther than a sniper could
Saints Row III and onwards would've been good games if they were their own thing. SR3 strays way too far from the peak of the franchise which is SR2. It's a shame Saints Row will never again be at the level it was back when SR2 released.
It’s gonna be kinda hard to accept the new gta6 online so many memories and small communities where made from this game throughout the years and it’s all gonna be abandoned for the new one
I love Saints Row: The Third! This third opus differs from the first two episodes which wanted to compete too much with GTA. For me, it was not this opus that truly caused the downfall of the series. The opus that truly caused the downfall of the license was Saints Row 4 with its science fiction and superhero side.
I had so much fun with Saints Row 2 growing up. It definitely outclassed the entertainment value of GTA 4 in my opinion. Such a shame they went in the wrong direction with the franchise from SR3 onwards.
i stopped grinding after doing the dr dre mission set 5 times to get the drift cars i wanted and called it; all i wanted to do was get the ae86 and the rx7 and drift around los santos
I feel like I am very capable of telling what kind of person I am based on the vehicles I drive, and forgive me not remembering all the car names. I bought the Willy's jeep because it a car the I hope to drive one day, even though its one of the slower vehicles in the game, I also have a couple old 1960s le mans GT cars, because I love the 24 hours of le mans. I like the gliding bike as it is a fun way to get around, and I live the DeLorean for the fact that it's the most useful piece of equipment that will help me in my hanger business out at the AFB. I hate the flying bike for two reasons one is all the dush bags use it, and two is it's ugly, and also the Stromberg which is based off of a lotus from James Bond, I also have a great use for the underwater capability, great get away from cops if I accidentally get into trouble
