3 things, but first to be clear i still think Blitzo was an asshole to many people. my comments below are not trying to negate or ignore the faults or mistakes Blitzo made. however everyone seems to be on team Stolas. so his point doesnt need to be explained by me. 1. The Striker incident isnt fair. He was taking his daughter to the vet for her mandatory shot so she doesnt get sick because he cares for Loona. And he knows he is the only one She trusts enough to bring her. To add to that point Stella ordered intial hit, that Blitzo DID stop, and openly talked about it on the phone right across from Stolas. If stolas had bothered to listen to her he wouldve known about the first hit., and a potentional follow up. 2. Stolas claims he never looks down on Blitzo, but he refers to Blitzo as " imp" many times, which in Blitzos experiecne is an insult, of rank and class. Not to mention, Blitzo was BOUGHT for loose change, and a condom. by Stolas's father. to be his friend. As far as Blitzo is concerned he is just Stolas's pet, a thing to amuse him. and Stolas hasnt done that much to break that sterotype. Stolas hasnt one time asked Blitzo how HE feels in the relationship. Stolas assumed he felt trapped or caged, but BLitzo felt fine as he said " it is a tranactional fucking" Stolas added his own opinions, forced them on Blitz, bumrushed him with an ultimatum. and then refused to try and understand how Blitzo felt. 3. Notice how Blitz slides between the banisters mimicking being a prisoner, but Verosika kicks the bannister so she can be free and have her legs normal. he feels trapped even though he was given "freedom" from stolas.
Those are cute little affectations. He isnt looking down on Blitzo or treating him as a lesser. Couples have petnames for each other. You're vastly misinterpreting the situation of their relationship. It grew beyond the transactional fucking and blitzo started to have commitment issues when he realized it, due to his own self-hate and sell-value issues.
For those who don't understand the Scott Cawthon and Ash Ketchum references at 9:36 : Scott Cawthon is the creator of the Five Nights At Freddys games and one of the main theories of FNAF 4 (which at the time was considered the final chapter) was that the entire game series was a coma enduced nightmare by the kid that got bit by an animatronic. The Ash Ketchum reference right after that is another old theory of the show Pokémon where Ash (the main protagonist of the show) is also in a coma because during the start of the show Ash sees a legendary Pokémon that can grant wishes and basically wishes to go on Pokémon adventures forever. Soon after seeing the Pokémon he gets struck by lightning and the entire series is supposedly one big dream. This would explain why he never ages and why he gets into such wild situations.
For starters, he fails to see his own hypocrisy. He says when did I ever look down on you, when literally all of season 1 he referred to blitz as an Itty bitty imp, impish plaything, and even made blitz uncomfortable in episode 1 when he went on a sex rant while he was running from the cannibal family. This is obviously bc of stolas's upbringing, but bc he doesn't realize how much this hurt blitz, he doesn't recognize it as a problem.

WHen he realized that is how Blitz viewed their relationship he tried to work against that behavior and make legitimate changes. Not his fault Blitz is completely blind to that stuff or just outright ignoring it.
Hes an abused royalty who lacks just as much social skill as Blitz. Like him, he too refuses to open up to ANYBODY about his traumas, in his specific case, his wifes constant physical and verbal abuse at him for no reason, even BEFORE Blitz came back into his life. Stolas marriage is NOT a happy one, it was arranged and forced on him. Hence his bias for Novellas: Its LITERALLY his only window to what real love looks like. Which yeah, blitz is KINDA right to basically say "Thats not what a real relationship looks like", but Stolas KNOWS that. As he said: He just wants someone who ACTUALLY cares about him and not just see his title or status or power or wealth. Were he truely honest: If he could give up being a goetia, he would.

And in the very same paragraph you mention he DOES understand that it is not how they really work. So does he understand things or doesn't he? I would say he is naive, but not blind or lacking understanding. You tried painting that as a flaw, only to contradict that flaw and say how he has worked against it immediately after. Blitz had HIS revealation, most likely itll be Stolas turn once his own daughter throws her perspective throughout EVERYTHING back in his face, as the preview has her CLEARLY state "You NEVER loved mum and you DONT love me! Your in love with HIM..." Yes Stolas has major hypocrisies, but he hasent had his eye-opener yet. Its irrational to hold that against him just as it was to hold it against Blitz. Ones got the message, now its the others turn. BOTH their metal issues are just as valid. Blitz hates himself for his actions destroying his first family, and Stolas hates himself because he CANT understand how to see others perspective but his own, try as he might to DO that. They cant work ANYTHING out if theyre mutually this badly locked up from trauma. Biggest issue there: Hell has NO therapists.

See, Series I, the OGs, were usually based around or on the creepypastas that were popular back then, almost 15 years ago. So they were simple yet effective. That is not to say that they haven't had additions or been edited since. One good example is SCP-093 which went from a disc that was only dangerous because it gained infinite momentum when it was removed from its mirror and it sought to "join" another mirror to an interdimentional key that responds differently to whomever puts it back on a mirror. Another one that got changed was...I forget the number but it used to be called "Just a Teenage Succubus" and it got replaced with "Just a Teenage Gaia" and all references to sexual appetites were removed from the file, which I am perfectly okay with, to be honest, but I kinda wonder if the og author made the changes or if they got implemented after the author had left the site...
