Wondering if something like Great Stuff or a spray foam of some sort would adhere to the pvc pipe instead of using papier-mache. Definitely looking at doing this for this year's decorations, but needs to be really weatherproof to last 5 weeks out in the yard. Thinking of drilling a hole at the base and running a cord up through the trunk to a C7/C9 bulb in the foam pumpkin.

I have been thinking about making a lifesize Medusa for the last several years. Is that something you have considered? I have researched and looked at many possible ways. I thought if I could get a mannequin (upper body) that would make it easier. Maybe even use chicken wire and paper mache for the tail. Glow in the dark paint for the snakes on her head. Anyway, if you ever decide to make her please let me know. I am sure you have far better ideas and resources. Love your channel and have made quite a few things.
