wearepostrock exposes and shares the evocative and cinematic musical nature found in "post-rock". (We) in the sense of all the post-rock bands and fans play a big part in this obscure and underrated musical movement.
We don't plan any of our shoots and we engage in the filming process as "spectators" in the crowd. We want to capture and visually express the closest thing to what its like to be at a live post-rock show.
We believe that the general lack of a traditional vocal track enables the music (the instruments) to truly speak and articulate the essence of the band. Filming the band members and their instruments perform is like capturing a purely instrumental musical dialogue.
In the end, we want to let the world know how provocative this music is and how much potential it can hold for future musical development.
ive only seen these guys 3 times live, they never cease to amaze me. Upon rewatching this for the hundredth time, i cant even imagine having been a person who saw them perform this live for the first time. The energy they would have exuded for that performance would be locked into that singular moment
Very strange title... I am assuming you are reefing to Pat Metheny - a guitarist / composer who has stretched, and reinvented himself countless times, while Godspeed... has been making the same 3 albums over and over again,,,for 26 years!
Just got home from work, my boss has been unreasonable with me for weeks then after the shift without explanation cancelled all my shifts. This song gives me hope, makes me feel freedom and peace. Life will get better as long as you believe it will.
