Do you happen to have a collection of postcards with couples like the last one? I am getting married next year and we have like a celestial theme, and i just thought about making the invite like the last one, our Inspiration is the Tonight Tonight by The Smashing Pumpkins music video so it would be sooo cool and if you have some examples to make it as authentic that would be so cute❤
Another interesting vid. I make cards & journal etc, I find the images inspiring. Guess I should start looking for old postcards/reproductions to use. 🤔

Those vintage street scenes and Seaside scenes with the illumination feature are wonderful .....you could look at them and find different aspects to them each viewing.....a nice way to preserve history.......
I think mass produced postcards were a bit more widespread than stone tablets or even papyrus , although it is subjective. The postcard had the huge advantage that it was cheap, relatively quick to send, sometimes 6+ daily deliveries in major cities, and you didn't need a high level of education to use it. It was the perfect combination of mass production, cottage industries and user generated content, similar to the internet today. So you can't really compare it with Ancient Greece.
Even the postcard issuers often recycled the same props, background scenery and actors/models over and over again, to save money. That's why a lot of cards look similar, like jazz variations on the same theme. They basically learnt that trick from earlier media, such as stereoscopic cards and magic lantern slides, that often came in story style format which in turn lent itself well to early animation and film.
Now that was just fascinating Leon. A very good production. I am amazed at your ability to find so many interesting postcards to share in your videos. Keep up the good work.
I think he got his ideas from lots of different sources and blended them into his own style. David Bowie was similiar, soaking up inspiration like a sponge.
Michael said he used to watch a lot of the old movies and the old stars and try and blend or perfect there art or craft he loved watching mime artist and took inspiration from how thay made things look effortless he watched how people mixed the songs and laid down the tracts to how thay moved danced and sung the songs
