Funny to see how Angelo is giving the same energy and enthusiasm to his pupils. With the same hands aside)

This is an impressive lesson, but I think it's more about muscle building rather than thoughtful action. I think this is something Korean fencing needs to work on. Korean foil fencers are extremely fast but they need better strategy. Unfortunately, this doesn't come easy. They would probably need to import foreign coaches, same thing that the US did.

Bucky was a pioneer in US training methods. How nice to have this video hearing him talk about it. His serious approach and optimism that we could succeed, began a new era in international success for US fencers. Thank you Bucky! RIP.

Fun to watch disciplined fencing master. I think he was a little bit nervous for being filmed, he was tapping his front foot a lot.

timeless - Cherchez la perfection. Warm-up - hi-intensity , fencing-related. footwork: aggressive position, marchez (dance), easy pull, arm-up, hold lunge position, adv-lunge x10 (Koreans took it to the next level), go-stop, parry-parry. Drills - probably what set that school apart, as they were able to turbo-charge the number of repetitions. Correct position, shoulder down, fingers at work, start with static, add steps, break out simple actions, e.g. attack against point-in-line, attack followed by automatic counter-riposte, distance games (Russian style, "one action one practice"). at the end on the board, the outline of the framework to take fencing from regular primary school to the world arena.

What's the blade work drill in the middle where they start with a beat cut to the arm and slowly build up?
