In the mid to late 70’s I was in a Vegas lounge group working at the Casbah Lounge at the Sahara when Jack Eglash, the entertainment guy at the Sahara, booked her into the lounge. Everybody has their own favorite female jazz singer…..she was mine.

I was there, I was in my final year of my 3 year teaching training at Caerleon College of Education. If my memory serves me right it was filmed for the Dave Cash Show which was on ITV at the time, please feel free to correct me on that. A couple of us actually sat and chatted with Rita Coolridge, his girlfriend at the time. I recognise so many of the the audience even after 52 years
