Say what you want man you can like multiple genres of music. If you only listen to extreme metal you have an extremely immature view on metal and music as a whole. Avenged sevenfold songs are just more fun to play than something like dissection or dark funeral

@@raptorrsr5817 I don’t only listen to extreme metal. I love all the old school New Wave of British Heavy Metal and old school thrash. All the MTV junk that came out in the mid 90s and on is garbage. You have the immature taste in metal my friend, you haven’t moved past the kiddie phase. Also Dark Funeral is lame.

@@raptorrsr5817 Nah not all modern music is bad, I like lots of modern bands (Hellripper, Spectral Wound, Departure Chandelier, Savage Necromancy, etc) and rap is certainly music, I’m not gonna argue with that. My point is more that the onslaught of Nu Metal, Deathcore, and Metalcore bands that have appeared the last couple of decades make trendy diet Metal for people who want to appear as if they’re in the scene but are just genre tourists following trends who have no real appreciation for the genre/subgenres and their roots.

@@Pagan_Fears as soon as i stopped caring about gatekeeping and realised how embarrassing i looked and actually bit the bullet and decided to explore the bands that i once deemed "poser bands" i became a lot happier. music is music you really shouldn't care so much about if someone only likes the surface level bands it does not affect you at all.
