I mean fair but he was also absolutely misunderstood. He did horrible things but like he was canonically misunderstood by almost every person in his life. "He's sleeps with women at a brothel!" "He's creepy to his female students!" "He was from a rich household!" "He's a dick to the sect leader for no reason!" "He tried to kill LQQ"
