When I completed grad school I stored all of my things in a storage unit and then went on the road. I would work long shifts so they would give me a place to sleep while I was working. I travelled to many different places to work and in between shifts I would stay a night in a hotel. I slept in my car once or twice but I was working 400 hours a month and driving 3,000 miles/month so there was not much time to do things other than work, travel, and prepare to work (buy groceries, do laundry, schedule future work). It was a lot of fun and a lot of work. Total freedom can be scary but for me it was awesome. I left the road to get married. Luckily, after working for 3 years with no rent and minimal expenses I was able to put a large down payment on a house.
I'm a Big advocate for carrying a stun-gun. I've NEVER met a cop that said Anything against that. They're all FOR protecting yourself. A stun-gun is non lethal, Not "messy", and GETS THE POINT ACROSS. 😬🫨 Enough said!🤨🤭
When one looks at human history, there were millions examples of people living nomadic lifestyles. Those who sailed the oceans for a living. Those who plied the merchant pathways. Those who were pioneers and blazed the trails for others to follow. There is nothing different from this man sleeping in his car and a man with horses/a wagon, camping out on the open range/trail.
I know that I am mean, but my people didn't come to North America as English speakers and were adamant about learning and always speaking English. I will block channels that don't, at least, have English sub-titles.
