GenerationWest is a voice acting hub that covers diverse voice overs, and I'm here to bring information that educates and entertains both the unaware and fans alike about both celebrities and the unsung talent in the voice over booth. The main draw are my "Characters and Voice Actors" videos, which covers your favorite/new Animated Shows, & Movies and/or Games. With "Comparing The Voices" for many characters who've changed throughout media, and the actors who've portrayed them in voice over to live-action. One of my more tasking type of projects, "Voice Showcases", which covers some of your favorite celebrities and voice actors, and their many years in the voice acting business, and who've worked to in multiple mediums, to both change and adapt to fit that certain medium. I both research, record and edit all of my videos, all images and audio are sliced by myself, and with permission from the VA's to cover their work. So share, like, subscribe, and comment for more down the line
13:33 No matter how many times I hear it, Terra's reunion will always be one of my favorite moments in the entire series. Makes me tear up just thinking about the look on his face when he saw them again.
Shelly Blond has a special place, for setting the tone and being the perfect start, but there wasn't a huge amount of VO work until later games. So for me, it's Keeley, with Shelley a close second place! 😁 Keeley's voice is like velvet, and perfect for the refined lady Lara. They should get her and/or Shelley back for any new games! Imagine Keeley doing Lara's voice and Shelly doing her mother's or perhaps the villain!
Its between Pollock and Baldry. Pollock nails that unashamedly silly and eccentric but also genuinely dangerous super villain vibe. If Baldry had ever gotten the chance to play the role straight then im sure hed do jus u as well. Cummings is good but it doesnt fit Eggman to me.
I can NEVER understand why so many people say Jon Bernthal "IS the punisher"... I mean, the guy's a amazing actor and I kinda like his V - E - R - S - I - O N of the character. But I mean... His Version of the Punisher is a Extremely Emotional, Super Angry, Screaming Madman Rambo-Like guy and.... that's... Well... I've never, neeeever seen Punisher acting this way... The Punisher I know is a Absurdly COLD Killer. He doesn't scream, at least not often like Bernthal does anyway. The Punisher I always read (Specially Garth Ennies version) Is a character that will blow a gagsters's head, all the blood and brain will splatter in his face and Frank will not express a SINGLE emotional reaction to it. Not anger, not disgust. Nothing. He is almost a psycopath, almost. Many will say he actually is a Psycopath (I disagree, but anyway) Frank Castle/Punisher is a cold machine of pure destruction of evil and will go on with his mission with cirurgial and cold precision. Jon Berthal is a Emotional Nuke, very, veeeeery far away from the character I know and love. (its a cool version of course, but so freaking diferent is crazy) This is also the reason why, for me, Thomas Jane is the infinite superior version. Even tho his movie is a bit toned down in violence, the guy makes the perfect cold blooded Punisher. Even the Voice is perfect. Hell, his portrayal of Punisher in The PS2 Game? I have yet to see a better performance of Frank Castle to top that. Now... I'm a punisher reader, but I'm not a extreme absurd Punisher reader, so I gotta ask you hardcore Punisher readers: Is there ANY PHASE that Punisher acts remotely like Jon's Version? Like, insanely angry and screaming all the time? All the phases I read Punisher he acted exactly like Thomas Jane, but with way more gore.
As a non english speaker, this is my default voice actor for Spiderman in english, i like him more than even Josh keaton maybe At least for a younger Peter (not a teen, just young)
R. Lee Ermey is a straight-up legend. One of the greatest crimes in entertainment history is that, as far as I know, he was never involved with the Warhammer 40,000 setting. He would have been *perfect* for an Imperial Guard officer or commissar. Literally perfect. Truly, this is the doing of the Ruinous Powers, may the God Emperor curse them.
To me they all the best Shadow voice to me and fits him amazing. 😎 David makes Shadow kept his pride as the Ultimate Lifeform full of mystery, badass and at the same time full compassion. He made Shadow that souls is really important and his moments with Maria 😮was emotional compare to Jason and Kirk. Jason makes Shadow more interesting as both killer instincts at the same time greatest anti-hero and darker version of Sonic since he voiced both Shadow and Sonic. Kirk is still a cool man. He has been improving the Ultimate Hedgehog ever since Forces, he did not make him edgy which is good. While dark and arrogant but he loves a challenge since he has Competitive spirit.
Ernie Hudson was the first voice I heard when they use to play the Super Powers Team Galactic Guardian on Cartoon Network back in the day so he is my favorite!! I love him. I love Khary Payton too he is funny and Phil LaMarr!! My top three for Cyborg. 🙌🏽🔥
Keith, Phil LaMarr, Chadwick, Khary, James and Christopher Judge were wow David,James,Djimon and Christopher were amazing they truly captured T'Challa before Chadwick Boseman was chosen Cian Barry was unique in his take
I like Jon Brenthal the best he just fits the charcter pefectly Kevin Michael Ricardson is great too but he just uses the same voice for all the other charcters he voices in media like Sherreder from TMNT 2012, Dark Laser from FOP for example so I don't think it the best voice for Trigon imo though my favorite Trigon voice is John Dimaggio from Apokolips War as I think that how Trigon would sound from the comics.
