Hello pedal friends, welcome to my little slice of the rabbit hole. Grab that tea and some crackers and let's check out all the exciting new sonic sorcery together! Instagram: instagram.com/tillmann_bross
@PedalsandTea quick question: These riffs are so solid & melancholic, do you make any music yourself? Are these riffs original? If not, what bands do they come from? Who are you inspired by? I'd love to play something like what you're playing
@@mercennium thanks a lot, that's super nice of you to say! Those are just random ideas, don't have a particular influence for this kind of thing. Used to listen to Yob a bit more but I'm no Mike Scheidt by any means. I do write/play/produce but have no super recent releases (probably again in autumn). The last doom(ish) release was this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qv1dKPw2b3s.htmlfeature=shared Thanks for asking, means a Lot!
I've been wanting one of these for a while. If you don't have a Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water you should definitely get one. It's a must have pedal. Especially considering the price. It pairs very well with the Generation Loss from what I've seen & heard.
@@PedalsandTea maybe it's just not your cup of tea 😂 Great channel man 🤟🏻I hope it continues to grow. My favorite videos are the lesser known pedals. There's too many people doing the same pedals. You have some nice ones here that I've never heard of & I am quite the pedal aficionado.
@@nicholasrella6904 haha good one :) thanks, yeah I love stumbling upon those hidden gems like Easy Dizzy and Arborist V2. It's nice to know that there's so much more out there. Thanks for your support, means a Lot!
I've been a Pharaoh guy for a long time. Amazing pedal. That Swamp Lord sounds really sweet. Awesome demo. They all sound great. Pharaoh & Swamp Thing were my favorites.
@@nicholasrella6904 thank you! Pharaoh is a little tighter, more focused. Swamp Lord is very loose in the low end. I love em both. Probably gonna do a bigger roundup with Jptr Warlow and Haggtronix Rotten Sorcerer as well :)
@@nicholasrella6904 thank you! The Guys at Thermion are making great stuff. And are even nicer people. Definitely worth supporting. :) that Baritone still has the stock pickups. They get a bad rap but honestly, I don't know why.
Reminds me of the worst sounds of the angel teeth or the carcosa ! Great demo nevertheless, it really shows what the pedal can do, even though I really don't like it !
So you are using the Abracadaver as a boost into all the other pedals in this video, right? I have a Plague Pit and am trying to figure out if i should place before or after my dirt.
that metallic phasing sound was not expected. If you like lofi reverbs, check out Fowl Sounds Echonomicon. Similar thing but different flavor. Would love to see what you can do with it!
Thank you! Glad to hear that! I think Crooked Axis and Small Fracture are quite similar in the Low Gain Range but differ more and more the further you get into fuzzy territory:)
I still be kicking myself in the butthole for not grabbing one of those baritone squier jazzmasters when they were new and cheap. Im a big squier head,i love them more than actual fenders-id rather have a 400 dollar guitar that i make my own with some work than a thousand dollar guitar thats already "perfect". My main axe these days is a squier bass vi with some Seymore Duncan Slugs dropped into a customized plate, and a number of other modifications. Theyre definitely slept on. Sweet drmo dude, killer tone.
@@PedalsandTea It's nasty dude. You're going to love it. Stacks well too. I'll run it with a Daredevil Purple Muff Clone and it's exactly what you want to hear in a doom tone.
Great demo again I love the fact you use a vintage hiwatt imo they get slept on they are as clean as a fender and as versatile as an orange and for me this pedal is the best sounding amp in a pedal and a lot cheaper than the Sunn model t gen one
Thanks! Yeah I've been playing these amps for quite a few years now and still have to find an amp that takes pedals as well as these do. And yeah, Quaalude is a beast. Gotta spend a lot more time with it though!
Another stellar video and demo I have to say all your demos make me want to by all the pedals you demo you are now on my wife’s watch list of instigators haha
@@PedalsandTea it’s not a bad problem to have I look forward to your videos man your production and tones that you achieve raise the bar for every demo channel
Got here from peladboards of doom. Had to try my own "octave fuzz into muff" thing... The Interstellar OD DLX into the Hizumitas sounds quite similar to the Swamp lord... masssssive
