Just watched uproar where a version of this song was used in the film if not this one. Quite fitting is that many years ago a tourism advert I used to see on UK TV for new Zealand used this song by crowded house as their backing song to the visuals for their new Zealand tourist advert. Always brings back great memories of new Zealand with the family when I hear crowded house don't dream it's over.

Seth I watch this at least 3x a week and reshare it on my Insta & FB so often for myself, and friends around the world. I have a similar story of retracing my ancestors to Hawaii and the loss of my dad Kolohe who was 6'4 a star athlete in both FB & BB in HS and college, offered full athletic scholarships to every one of the Big 10 SEC. He chose Mizzou (University of Missouri drafted by legendary NFL coach Dan Devine in 1959-1963 where he met my haole mom, and 5 yrs later I came along. But he was uprooted from Paia Maui at age 12, relocated to a foreign land (Missouri in the central part of US where it was still terribly racist and Polynesians and Asians were treated much the same as African Americans, adopted into a conservative rigid haole life, taken away from the sea and palm trees and Tradewinds and Hawaiian culture and his by age 40 his life had spiraled into alcoholism from those traumatic wounds of loss of culture, loss of ohana, loss of 'aina. So when I play this I think of him and what could have been had he been left to live where he belonged on Maui. It's the most beautiful melodic arrangement and the film of your coming home shot on what looks like Super 8 (which I love this style) and you with your Ohana and holding that keki and I even now I can sing along having studied the lyrics. So similar to Hawaiian. I love ALL of your music and I would love to know who directed, edited or created this film because it's elegant, powerful, compelling, profoundly timeless and gives us all a historical vision (could be 1700s 1800s 1900s Tahiti Nui ) and story of the journey of Polynesians finally coming home "Moemoeā" be 1700s 1800s 1900s Polynesia.
