Loved this interview. I was just like your mom. I opened my business with no financial help as well. I had a great team and they really respected me because I led the example. I was first and last there. We had in house education after hours so we could be creative and work with confidence. I always had 1 official rule: customer service is the number 1 killer of a business so we have to remember to treat everyone with kindness and respect. I wish I lived closer to Stitch house. Have you ever had a belt break? My cross hairs wouldn't go up and down but not side to side then I looked and the belt broke 😭 I'm just waiting on a new one now
Your video is so informative. I have a DM XV8500D. Is it very different from the one you are displaying? You mentioned software that comes with your machine. Is that compatible with mine? I’ve had mine for two years and have only used it for appliqué and would love to learn all it can do. The shop I bought it from was going to show me how but it is so heavy that I can’t move it and they don’t have another to show me on. So, RU-vid it is for tutorials unless there are other websites or tutorials available that I am not aware of out there.

If i understand, your marriage is over due to abuse. I use to watch your earlier videos with your husband. there were times when I felt he was mean and insulting. You took his cruel teasing gracefully. So glad you are getting to a better place. Wish you success in your business.
