You seem like a very nice lady, with a very nice family. But, as a Dutch person I am a bit shocked by the amount of plastic packages and so little fresh food. I have to say, I am spoiled, because the Netherlands is the biggest fresh food producer in the world (#2 after USA, but many many times smaller in land size). I guess Texas is a bit too dry for lots of fresh food production. Thanks for sharing, interesting to see.
This is really helpful/practical/realistic advice about health, weight loss mindfulness, insight and maturity. Kudos to you for putting this out there!! It's all about being aware of what you're doing, taking responsibility and knowing that you can change. It's not all that difficult but you have to be ready to pay attention to what you're doing and then, without judgement, change your habits sensibly over time.
Welcome to Texas. I've never been to SanAntinio, but I've heard there is a lot of neat stuff to do there. I love living in Texas it's a great homeschool state. I Sure, was glad to see your video again.❤
We love it so far. It is definitely a HUGE change from Kansas. The amount of people out on the roads, all of the time, lol, has been a huge adjustment. It is always busy, everywhere.
Breastfeeding burns LOTS of calories. That would account for the rapid weight loss in that time, on top of the normal efforts. If u just had a baby I suspect that was your real secret! 🐣😉
I always heard that but that was never my experience. I had six babies and breastfeeding always just made me SO hungry. I never lost weight from breastfeeding. It was all mindset change and determination here. Although, I wish that was the case. It would have made it alot easier 😂
@@mymomlife If you breast fed regularly it would have made a big difference. Some say it can burn up to 600cals per hour on average. That's exactly why it would also make you hungry as you say, because it was burning lots of calories. That's exactly what it would do. Its much easier to have a mindset change when you are also conveniently doing things (unknowingly) that help things along!
Love how you mention having to be ready to accomplish the goals of losing weight. This has been my biggest downfall is beginning prematurely and then feeling discouraged. I’m ready now and this is all great advice and tips. Thank you! 💪🏽 👏 ❤
That was my biggest hurdle for the longest time. There is a huge mindset shift that has to take place before you start seeing real result! Great job! Keep it up!
Nice, but where’s the cream filling?😮 that dough looks really good though thanks for the recipe and the heads up on that frosting lol. They look delicious only I like mine with the cream filling.😂
I for one love your old pan; much like mine from my grandmother that will never not be used. If it kills me, it kills me.😂 These are amazing; thank you for awesome video!
Yes...we all did the Amish Friendship bread starter. It was the best. I love your version...much quicker and no need to make starter. Anyway, it's all good. This bread makes your house smell great so always plan it ahead when you have people over to visit LOL Let me give y'all a tip I learned awhile back. Anytime you make quick bread or bisquits or muffins----after you get the batter into the pans and ready for oven let them sit for 15 min before you put into the oven. This activates the baking powder/baking soda and helps your batter to rise a bit and gives you nicer looking product. Try it, you'll see.

Oh snap, she went with the deep fat fry. That’s hardcore. Everything I see on RU-vid is so healthy prepared. I love it. I have 4 cans of crescent rolls that I bought from a coupon/Vons Card combo that made a purchase irresistible. You know what they say, never shop on an empty stomach! I can’t make this because I will devour them all. Hot puffy sugary goodness in my kitchen? Danger, Will Robinson!
I know this is old, but u need to replace that pot. All those scratches, the coating is going into ur food. Always remember to use wood or non stick utensils with non stick cookware. Also dotn use high heat, like low or medium. Most NS cookware only last 2-5yrs anyways , so just buy aall metal one .
I am 62 years old and yes I did the friendship bread it was passed around through the church I believe I got a bag and then I spread it through our church and I forget who I got my bag from my starter bag ended up I sense found a starter on RU-vid or saw young Google I think and I started doing it, but it didn’t come out as good as the one that I had gotten originally years ago
Do a recipe you were American but when you do a recipe used two sticks of butter you got it clarified with two sticks of butter is, is that one cup of butter because in Canada and in other countries, they that are watching us they don’t have sticks of butter I have containers of butter, not sticks of butter they have blocks of butter, Rexha butter, but a brick has a lot more in it than obviously that does so you have to clarify how much that is is that one cup of butter or is that more or less? I think it’s probably more.
