I really love your videos, and your work is amazing! However, I noticed that sometimes you skip over small details or a few steps. While this might be logical for experienced users, it can be challenging for beginners or someone like me who is switching from another software like Maya. I think it would be super helpful if you could review the videos with fresh eyes, perhaps from the perspective of someone just starting out. This would make your tutorials even more valuable. Thanks for all your great work!
as a very proud follower and (elder) student of the process of motion, which helped tons the company i work with, and as a fellow "artist", i've felt every little core emotion you must have felt throughout your whole work experience. I sincerely wish you the best in your new path, and hope those metrics will ramp up, allowing you to even have a full meal (with proper bread!) :D I'd sincerely hope we could work/colab somehow in the future! Thank you so much and keep up! PS - astonishing production for this video, with all the footage and "cinematography", super glad you're in a tasteful, and unique background, not just a purple/blue/yellow led room :D Well done!
Holy hell the Production Quality, Like what the heck man. Anyways, It is a sad Reality, But 3D Art especially in the C4D Motion Graphic Scene, its quite a Niche Topic to cover, Making it a bit difficult for the Algo to Notice you, Also If you're Looking for Content Ideas here's a List you could Consider: - Variety of Casual Content: Stuff Like Showing tips and tricks, Covering new tools, Podcast with other Artist, Vlogging, etc. - Do a Portfolio Review: If your Discord group is Big Enough, You could tell your audience who is a fellow artist to Submit their Portfolio and Provide some Helpful critique with you decade of experiences - Experiment with Other Software: This may be a bit inconvenient for you, But Today Everyone uses Blender and Unreal Engine do to How accessible yet powerful they are, to the point where it started to become an Industry Standard now, Transferring your knowledge into these Software Might help you with the Algorithm and bring in some new faces - Lastly, try to cover the Bussiness side of things: This is Personally my preferred content as of right now, Because Personally me (a 20yo kid) and my Family is in a very Difficult Financial situation right now, as in my dad have passed away and now I have to drop out of college and moved to my grandparent's house, Now I'm trying to scramble a Portfolio with my current skill to hopefully Hustle in a bit of Money
Really beautiful work. Amazing Icelandic terrain. How did you make the glacial river? I’ve been working on a side project involving Icelandic glacial rivers.. been lookdeving in Houdini but I can’t get it right! The closest I can get is using a find shortest path node and distorting it a bit once it’s masked, or masking some simple curves manually and distorting the heck out of them! Would appreciate any insight.
Let me blow your mind right now: Google earth screenshots of a river photoshopped into a black and white mask to control where which texture is where. (That's what I call shortest path lol)
@@DanielDanielsson brilliant!!! They just looked so real I was curious about whether you generated them!! But this seems to have worked perfectly for the job. Always good to remember this is art not just science. I’m sure with topaz the possibilities of this route are insane.
love you, brother.💯 This community needs you as the funniest mentor ever💣. something to say, I guess the environment shots are created and yeeeeees you prove me right....😉
Hi Dan, doubt you'll remember me but I remember working with you at FOTW back when I had just started in motion design. Was sooooo worried this was going to be a video about either quitting or AI lol. I've joined the discord, looking forward to chatting shit (good shit) on there🤘
Since you like reading comments, here's mine: I love the way you share QUALITY stuff and pieces of your motion knowledge with the community. Thank you and I'm sure this new journey will be successful. Persevere! I'll meet you half way. :)
Love it. a part of Future me in present you, please guide me. You have fullfilled my aspirations i want in being a creative human being. What a treat this video was. Thank you
Good luck! looking forward to see what you will do! I'm big fan of your art style and your unique presentation So I'm sure whatever you will do will be great!
What happened with the image and sound quality you usually serve? This looks like 720p and sounds like you have the microphone in the other end of your room
@@DanielDanielsson Sass is expected 😆 just seems like you actually forgot to export in UHD/proper bitrate for RU-vid, because the compression artifacts honestly look like crap. And I have no idea why you let audio this muffled go up, VO is drowning. Still gonna try and watch through tho.
@@posebukse My budget for sass is unlimited. UHD would be nice, but I don't own a camera that films that many pixels. But now I do own a new audio interface, because it turned out the one I've had for 9 years had a manufacturing defect from the start which ruins the sound. So you're not totally off the mark. Looking forward to the new one on the next one. 😆
@@DanielDanielsson I thought you would know this, but just upscale to UHD for RU-vid to get more bits for the butts. Regarding the sound, just push your VO 3db higher than now and throw on a hint off ducking and you're golden, regardless of interface. Denoising in Resolve is also REALLY good. But yeah, looking forward to more content and sass!
The fact is that I could guess what kind of face you have from your voice, I have a suggestion, use the Octane render engine instead of Arnold, because this GPU-based engine has more users. Also post more tutorials, you are an inspiration to many who have entered the world of motion graphics and made it their career. The motion graphics community has much more growth potential and is still a child, and finally, artificial intelligence can never replace motion graphics artists. Also, avoid going into very small details in your training. Your tutorials are very practical and sometimes boring. By following some tips, you can be number one. Good luck
